A few weeks back, actor Keiynan Lonsdale was cast to play the role of Wally West in the upcoming season of CW's The Flash. Now, in an interview with TheWrap, Lonsdale has opened up about the role and what fans can expect in this upcoming season of the show.
A lot of Lonsdale's role is being kept secret, even from the actor, but he did say that he auditioned for another role in the same universe, either Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow and the creators wanted him for Wally West. Lonsdale starts filming his entrance to the series in October, so he probably won't be around right when the season starts. He also hasn't been told how he related to Iris in the show. In the current comics, Wally is the nephew of Iris West.
The Flash comes back to CW on Tuesday, October 6 at 8/7C.
