Jon Favreau & Mickey Rourke Talk Iron Man 2

We're all on the edge of our seats waiting for any tiny piece of news over Iron Man 2.  Actually there has been some very very minor information lately.  Mostly location shoots and such.  Nothing really juicy. 

In a talk with Empire Online, Jon Favreau and Mickey Rourke have revealed a couple little things.  Favreau has mentioned that Tony Stark is now expected to be a role model and his dealing with that pressure will be one of the "tensions" of the movie.  He also hinted that Rhodey (Don Cheadle) may be putting on an armored suit of his own.

Rhodesy is definitely stepping up in this film. Let me put it this way: Tony's not the only person with technology in the film.

Let's not forget about Mickey Rourke's character.  It seems they're going with Rourke playing Whiplash despite his Russian/Crimson Dynamo similarities.  Perhaps the movie will feature an mix of the two characters.  Rourke is enjoying his time on set and also mentioned having some "technology" to wear.

It's been really brutal, because my Iron Man suit weighs 23lb. It's sort of a half-suit, with half my skin showing, with lots of Russian tattoos, because [Whiplash is just] out of a Russian-zone prison.

It's still unclear what Whiplash will look like.  The guys over at Latino Review received the character design sketch from an anonymous source recently (seen to the left).  There does appear to be some armor and more than the recent bondage look in the comics.
