Hugh Jackman Confirms Sequel To "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"

If you were hoping for a sequel to the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," then you are in luck!  Hugh Jackman has made it official that work on the sequel to his origins story has already taken off. Jackman told MTV that "Wolverine" will be heading to Japan, and production on the film is already under way It just so happens that the upcoming film will be centered around one of the most popular events in Wolverine's character history, which occurred during the Frank Miller and Chris Claremont run back in 1982
 
 


If you are unfamiliar with this period in Wolverine's time-line, then you are seriously missing out! During this fantastic mini series, Miller and Claremont take Wolverine to Japan where he develops an affinity for Japan and Japanese culture. This story happens to be a favorite of many Wolverine fans. However; after the first Origins film there was a question of how accurate the characterizations translated onto the big screen. The fictional relationship between Silver Fox and Emma Frost, the portrayal of Deadpool; both were some of the many conflicts that so many fans had with the film "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." It will be interesting to see how accurate Wolverine's character portrayal will be.
