Hands On: Star Wars: The Force Awakens Wall Decals and Standee

We take a close look at some of the other types of new Star Wars merchandise.

A couple weeks ago, a lot of people went crazy over the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys and merchandise during Force Friday. We even took a look at a Disney Store exclusive die cast Flametrooper this week.

Instead of looking at the toys that everyone's already seen, we had the chance to check out some other merchandise. AllPosters.com has sent over some items showing what else is available.

The first thing we saw in the video was the Prepasted Surestrip Wall Mural.

Obviously I haven't put this up. This is an image from the site. It appears to currently be out of stock so check back to see if they get it back. It's pretty high quality stuff. It's thick and sturdy. It's stain proof and comes in strips. That means there's a little bit of work involved in putting it up.

The website mentions it is reusable, which is good to know in case you need or want to move it. Coming in strips means you can also put it up in a corner of a room. It comes rolled up in a tube and you have to cut the separate pieces.

If you're looking for something a little easier, there are also wall decals available as well as other wall murals. These go for about $14 and are obviously much easier to put up and take down.

We also got a look at a Chewbacca standee. It's a lot sturdier than the standees I had seen long ago. The price is $39.99 and it's really tall since it's life size. Surprisingly, this has been sitting in my kitchen corner for about a week and my wife's only asked once when it was moving somewhere else.

There's a bunch of other Star Wars merchandise at AllPosters. They have t-shirts and even some toys. It was cool of them to send these things over so we could get a nice look at them. There's just so much Star Wars stuff you can get. To me, that's a good thing.

Let us know what you think of these items.
