Captain Marvel is great character...it's just not her.

- Banner

- Rhodey

- Tony Stark

Then there are some other things:

- Carol is turned into a worthless character

- Clint had to kill Banner..... for real.

Bendis, just stick to Jessica Jones, DD and Morales. That's more than enough.

Oh, I guess it'll be over for now. But not for long. I'm sure they are already planning Civil War 3 for after Inhuman's versus X-men.

I don't know, this was her in cw1, I think turning her fascists was a sad thing to do, but now they can write (yet another) character redemption arc. If they even feel she needs one, sales will decide her fate even with a movie coming out. But nothing in this story has made me want to read the character again, or go to see the movie. She's just another super villain with good pr after this.

I'm guessing that Carol is gonna go into binary mode, and almost destroy the Earth which lead to Old Man Logan's future. The prediction showing Spiderman holding Captain America after Iron Man blasted him.

Makes you wonder then, if the backlash against how this event has treated Carol's character is great enough, will Marvel retcon things to say that Carol was under some kind of influence or mind control by Hyrda Cap?

They didn't retcon Antman's Chris Brown moment. It could be a defining moment for Carol for better or for worse.

Something that's totally bad and doesn't hide how bad it is. Yet somehow, somewhere's, enough people out there are buying into it like it's a great thing.

Garbage. Get rid of Bendis, Quesada, and Slott. I'll be waiting for that marvel rebirth.

Nothing was learned and this entire event was hamfisted together with a measly plot.

Give it a few years. They'll run out of fresh new directions again and have Civil War III (after "2 Fear 2 Itself" and Secret Wars: Tokyo Drift)

They didn't do that with Tony after cw1. I'm sure Carol has enough defenders to shout down the other side, just as Tony fans did back then. Also I'm not sure that marvel isn't -as they were with Tony- completely ok with Carol's actions. They do seem to love fascism at that company these days.

I know at least one writer whose probably gnashing his teeth to fit Steve blowing up and flying spread eagle into his narrative... I wonder what kind of mind gymnastics we're going to see to explain Hydra Cap's apparent well-being in his own book without totally borking the timeline?

Gee, look at that...it's almost like Miles in the vision HADN'T killed Cap and they all just misinterpeted it...because it's just a still picture and completely without context. This was so stupid...they want to do another Civil War? Fine. Just try and come up with a good reason for it!
