Entertainment Weekly has shared their exclusive first look at Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt, aka the Red Skull. The movie is due on July 22 and Entertainment Weekly spoke with director Joe Johnston about what makes Cap interesting and relatable, the movie being set during WWII and why he'd rather direct Cap over someone like Superman. Check out the full interview here.
Jeez... I swear people will ALWAYS find something silly to complain about. I find it sad that a symbol on a belt buckle could ruin a movie for people! Get over it! He looks amazing.
@KattVonNoir: Okay, put the Spider-Man logo on Wolverine's belt buckle. It's really no different. I find it sad that people excuse these sort of character undermining things.

AGREED! Also, maybe they do not want to make his official costume a nazi one so that the toys and dolls and such wont be nazis and wont have children playing with nazi stuff.
WHERE IS THE NAZI UNIFORM?!?!?! Cap is Cap because he pounds the flesh off of Nazi bones! If they can't even be true to the fact that Red Skull is a Nazi then what's the point?
Did anyone read the interview this pic is linked with? clearly states that nazis are in the movie. And Hydra traditionally grew out of Nazism and the third reich in the comic so I'm not worried.
