cool,I like it and want to see this.But the art kinda affects huntress,but not in a real significant way

@Babs: I hope Damian kicks the crap out of her. Though my question for you, is how do you get Exclusive previews like this? Especially for a series so poorly reviewed.

Looks good, didn't pick up #5 as it seemed worthless, but this looks good. It seems like whenever Kevin Maguire does art it brings out the best in Levitz's writing.

This book is like an abusive relationship. I keep wanting to drop it, it's so tediously boring, and nothing ever really happens with it... then it pulls me back in with this, when I know I'm only going to get hurt again.

Hmm. Helena actually begins interacting with the rest of the New 52 Universe. Might be a turning point.

I'll pick this up since Damian is one of my favorite characters in comics. Plus I would REALLY like to see him beat down Huntress. It has bothered me since I read the first issue that she's been stealing money from Bruce Wayne and her condescending tone in the preview really irks me. Though since Huntress is the main character she will likely get one over on Damian which will be a bit disappointing.

If Bruce obtained a blood sample from Helena would it show that they are related?

Also, I hope Damian lays down the pain and doesn't fold simply cuz she is the main focus of this book.

bahahaha I'm oddly drawn to this book but i don't want to buy it anymore, an abusive relationship was the perfect comparison lol

Can't say I like the looks of that cover of showing Damian so violently striking Huntress.

It's really weird showing that he's so much her equal when she grew up with Batman and Catwoman is her mother. She should be tossing him around like a doll.

@FoxxFireArt: False, Damian was raised by Talia Al Ghul and the League of Assassins, he should be more than capable of kicking Huntress's butt, even if she was raised by Batman and Catwoman.

This is a bad book, but I enjoy Damien. I'll give a one over in the shop and go from there....

I'm excited about this issue, I haven't been reading since issue one, but I love Damian and I'm really interested to see him interact with Helena! And I really like the art.

I might pick this one up.

I really had hoped that Huntress' previous interaction with the Batfamily wasn't retconned out. She's been on Earth for a few years now...she can't have avoided all contact.

The frame with Damien hitting the computer with his staff looks pretty derpy. Also, I still don't like the idea that Huntress was Robin.

Relax, it's a comic book. Yes, it makes no sense. Yes, his muscles haven't even developed and Yes, he's 10. Beside, Helena might do something this issue.

Unfortunately all the pre-Flashpoint Huntress stories are moot. This Huntress has made a deliberate effort to stay out of Gotham. The only time she drops by is to steal non-dad's money.

What is up with Damien's mouth in these panels? His upper lip is drawn with an odd curl to it. Is he suppose to be in snarl mode all the time? He looks a bit mentally challenged on that last page.

I have been waiting for something to happen in this series, and no it is not the hole in the top of Power Girl's uniform. To me, Huntress has taken a back seat. She has almost become forgettable. The only memorable moments have been her tapping into Bruce's account. This has really bugged me. I know that she will have an encounter with Bruce over this and all will be forgiven.

Damian should thump on her a bit. I get that Huntress should take it to him, but Damian has put the boots to Jason and Tim. Both of these guys has been trained by Bruce

The New 52 Earth 2 universe has little to no continuity of the original Earth 2. If it did (for sake of this post), Earth 2 Batman was more detective heavy than fighter. I'm sure that E2 Batman had no training from the Assassin's Guild. Therefore, Helena would not be the same style fighter as Damian.

Lastly, I hope this is a turning point for this book. I have been wanting to cancel it for awhile. The stories have been incredibly boring. I keep hoping for more character development.

She's from Earth 2 but was transported to Earth 0 when the Apokoliptian invasion happened. The same thing happened to Power Girl.

@cagedleo730: Which, ends up making this entire thing a load of crap. What happened with the Batman mythos not being touched? She's been an integral part of the Batman family since the Helena Bertinelli character was invented. They -should- have them know at least Helena Bertinelli as Huntress, not Helena Wayne. There's absolutely no way Batman would somehow disregard the existence of this crime fighter, especially when she's doing things to benefit Gotham (it's mentioned quite a lot early in the Huntress mini that she's stopping shipments from Italy to Gotham.)

honestly the first story arc was very disappointing and terrible...Since this is the start of a new story which seems interesting, I will give it one last shot...just one....

Damian has every right there is to defeat Helena . The only reasons she might get away with stealing like a common crook could be that the writer favours her because she is the main character .They are going to team up after this issue anyway , so chill .Helena is going to be fine and probably not going to be humilated that much .

And I don`t dislike her (at least at this point) , but I`d love to see either Selina or Bruce come alive for a couple of hours to give the kyle brat a spanking for stealing xD That would be poetic justice . After all her mother went trough she should know better...But sadly , that would be too silly for mainstream comics xD

For those talking about Helena Bertinelli's history with the Bat-Family...it hasn't necessarily been erased, but like many things with the new 52, it's confusing. Helena Wayne has basically stolen Helena Bertinelli's identity at some point, and the real Helena Bertinelli is believed to be dead. So basically: Helena B could have been the Huntress for a while, but is now "dead" and Helena Wayne has assumed that role relatively recently to my knowledge. That would leave the Bertinelli history about as intact as anything else in the new 52, but I think it's very clear by now that NO mythos has been completely untouched, though Green Lantern probably underwent the least changes overall (with Batman in second place with "a lot of the most recent stuff stayed, but a hell of a lot of retconning of past stuff has occurred).

Batman was definitely altered far more than advertised, though. Given that it's been made pretty clear DC has not freaking clue what they're doing with the New 52, that doesn't surprise me.

LOL Bruce pobably knows and allows Helena to do as she pleases.

And yeah , stopping Helena from continuing to steal from Wayne Enterprises definately is the right thing to do .
