@comicvine_is_jericho529: Far as I'm concerned? If this brings us closer to a BETTER New 52 Universe(Keeping what works and replacing what doesn't with Old 52 stuff), I'll be happy.

That's implying that any of this crap makes sense to anyone, let alone new readers.

Lol, why would u disagree, if It is totally as bad as Age of Ultron. Since Age of Ultron wasn't bad and it was good, it is technically saying this is good.

Considering that the so called "new readers" have been reading the New 52 since it started? I don't see how. Just take the BAD New 52 ideas and replace them with the good old Old 52 stuff, but keep what WORKS about the New 52. Yeah I am man enough to admit somethings DO work about the New 52... Just not enough for me to wanna see it continue the way it is

@smart_dork_dude: You didn't address my issue though, that would make no sense to new readers. Heck I tried reading that Booster Gold Futures End issue which is part of Post Crisis continuity and it made no sense. Besides there are no real problems besides Captain marvel in the New 52 that can't be fixed.

People still griping over New 52? SMH...

I'm curious to see what happens when Brother Eye meets Brainiac, very curious. At first I thought one would take over the other but i'm thinking they may work together hence why the future is so morbid and dark thanks to Brother Eye we saw in issue 0 FCBD.

And Brainiac seems to gain in power at some point if he's a multiversal threat much less cosmic. I also don't see how that's like Age Of ultron, considering Ultron was never a universal threat much less multiversal...last time I checked.

@captainmarvel4ever: at this point Tim Drake can't be fixed. Wally can't be fixed. The Question can't be fixed. The entire JSA can't be fixed. The nonsensical timeline itself can't be fixed.

There are plenty of things besides Captain Marvel that are outright bad about the New 52. It's obvious that he's your favorite character, but you have to realize that other people's favorite characters have been radically changed by the reboot too. The Question is one of my favorite characters. Not only is this new version of Vic awful, but his sacrifice and legacy is ruined too, because Montoya doesn't exist in the New 52. DC also lost a great female character in their line up by doing this.

@timelordscience: Tim Drake was fixed in Secret Origins, I like the new directions for the JSA and the Question (even though I think Earth-2 is sucking lately) but those are just opinions, and Wally has only been around for a few issues, so just wait it out.

My issue with Captain Marvel is that his origin has to be done a very specific way for the character to work, once that has been screwed up, it's over. Montoya will probably come back in due time. The Doom Patrol and Metal Men were gone for a while, then they came back and it was awesome. Besides with the new Gotham series on TV I'm sure Montoya will be back sooner then later.

Truth. Whole issues tell stories that could be done in a page. I like the direction of it just not the long road to the end game.

Look, I recognize that there are differing opinions on the New 52 DC Universe, and that's fine. I have been reading DC Comics for 35 years, and I've been through many of the various changes from the Silver Age, through the 86 reboot, all the way to the New 52, which I have read since the beginning, and this is my opinion on it. Though the New 52 does have some gems, you have to dig through a sewer full of crap to find them. Since its inception, I've felt like even DC itself hasn't known what it's doing with its Universe; like they've just been throwing things against the wall to see what sticks. Many of the changes DC had made, both large and small, have been terrible, and have served mainly to remove much of the DC Universe's distinctive "flavor". Particularly galling has been the change in Superman's attitude and personality (not to mention his crappy new costume), and the almost casual attitude toward killing that most of DC's heroes seem to take these days. Also of note is the crappy "makeover" Lobo has gotten in an attempt to turn him into DC's Wolverine. The attempted shoe-horning of the Wildstorm Universe into the DC Universe has also been particularly irritating, as has the complete destruction of both Superboy and the Teen Titans, which I thought was actually pretty decent before the reboot. In my opinion, the best thing DC could do with the New 52 is abandon it. Maybe say that they were following one of the other Earths for the past few years, and return to the (slightly modified) original Post-Crisis DC Universe. And they need to have a complete editorial vision to harmonize ALL of their books into a coherent, overarching meta-story. Otherwise, the DC Universe will continue to decline, and perhaps one day be bought out by Disney/Marvel - which would be very bad for fans all around.
