Has this book seriously not gotten any better since Bendis first revived it?

Only Bendis can make me hate a book with Kevin Maguire.

Nope and it won't as long as Bendis is writing it. By this point its obvious that the man is completely out of ideas & interest with the Guardians so his writing 6-issues worth of fillers to fulfill his monthly quota.

Oh Bendis, you ruined so many things I love, I have no idea what you have on Marvel that they give you so much power, but I fear what you have did to Guardians, a title I loved and brought me into cosmic comics, has made it unpickeable even when you leave the title, you and Marvel need to make them just like their movie counterparts just turns me off. What works for a two to three hour movie does not work for volumes to volumes of books.

My guess: It's a job, it's job, la la laa... It's just a job...

@ultimatepower6: I say it looked promising back when it first started but it just has gone down hill into deconstruction/filler land. He's writing way too many books and it's just not working. I hope the editors (never gonna happen) cut his number of books and have him focus on 2 or 3.

This looks so bad. Everyone, stop buying these books, unless you actually like them. The thing is though, everyone just complains on the forums, but keeps buying them anyways. If you really don't like them, don't buy them, and send Marvel a message that we aren't going to support garbage like this anymore.

Bendis has no business writing Marvel cosmic books.

Seriously, I love me some Maguire and would normally be super stoked for this. I don't understand why Bendis has been given such a monopoly over the Guardians for the last couple years. It's a shame with all the hype around the films, we can't get a decent Guardians book. At least Skottie Young gave a good run on Rocket Raccoon. Was sad to see him leave that book.

After months of driving this title into the ground figuratively, it now looks like Bendis has done it literally.

This feels like the dark ages of Marvel again.

Well at least we're slowly getting rid of him in GOTG... The question we should be asking is, wether there's anything left of the team once his gone?
