The turban is not specific to the Sikhs, for many Muslims (particularly in North India and Pakistan) it is an optional part of the Sunnah.

Worlds End is really good, much better and more concentrated than Futures End. Only thing I loved about Future's End is Clark's interactions with Constantine.

I hate that they're destroying Earth 2. One of the good things about the new 52 ugh.

Man i stopped at #5 or so, got tired of the book, though it's nice and since it's ending after convergence i feel it's not worth it, i will continue earth 2 after convergence or when it's stable.

@knightsofdarkness2: Picked the entire Earth 2 story last week and yes, it is def worth reading. Imo it is among the only DC series worth reading (I also read Batman, Batman and Robin, Justice League, Injustice Year Three and Futures End (I'd recommend against picking up Futures End, it isn't a well made story and has a lot of things going on on different places and a lot of sub-plots, making overall plot progression pretty damn slow and annoying, it's just that it's nearing its end so I'm not going to drop it now))

Anyway the story is pretty straightforward as far as titles go, but I came up with this reading order:

Earth 2 #1-4

Earth 2 #0

Earth 2 #5-13

Earth 2 Annual 1

Earth 2 #14-19

Earth 2 Annual 2

Earth 2 #20-26

Earth 2 World's End #1 (stop reading halfway through)

Earth 2 #27-28 (At this point the main Earth 2 series is pushed aside and is more of a tie-in to the World's End series, I believe that the last issue released so far is issue 29 and I haven't read it yet)

Earth 2 World's End #1 (finish reading it)-13 (current issue)

There are also a few tie-ins from other series and World's Finest is supposed to be another Earth 2 series but I haven't read it yet. It is def not an essential reading.

Apparently, the story of Earth 2 eventually leads into Futures End, which is pretty disappointing in my opinion. Still, Earth 2 & World's End are great reads, though a little inconsistent.

I really enjoyed Earth 2 but had to stop at 25, my wallet refused to pay for a weekly and I felt DC was putting E2 on an altar for sacrifice to Darkseids greatness. Maybe I will pick up the trade if this keeps getting thumbs up.

Its a good thing there was a wifi hotspot on Apokolips! Khan would have been in trouble if he lost connection half-way through the data transfer.

So...is there only one Darkseid?? Is this the same one from Prime Earth who lost to the JL and has scars on his eyes? The same one who fought Batman in Robin Rises?? Or is there more than one in the Multiverse?

Like all New Gods there is only one Darkseid in the Multiverse. He is the same character in each of those books.

@dernman: That's what I thought, but I didn't see the scars on his eyes, so, either it was a continuity error or I thought it was a different Darkseid.

Each issue finds a way to break my heart. I love Earth 2.

I thought people were hating on Earth 2 now being a separate part of the Multiverse compared to the beginning of DC's history of heroes? I did like James Robinson's run on the title though.

Also can anyone tell me if Darkseid actually has a personality here? Or maybe that he's written like Darkseid is supposed to be?

*shrugs* I've noticed more people love it than dislike it. The ones who dislike it are usually the ones who were more concerned about the huge changes in the characters like them being old. Discontent did rise from earth 2 fans when Robinson left because Trinity characters started taking over and they started destroying everything that made the book good by making it like the Ult Universe.

Darkseid can't say. He does talk more than his first appearance in the 52 but the same vibe I dunno.
