looks like exactly what it should look like... i think this will honestly do well. its a perfect time for this book to sell well.

I liked it. It was fun and light and had s good sense of hummor.

Willing to give it a chance. Jurgens is a solid writer, and the 8 page preview was lots of fun.

Hey, I enjoyed Bat-mite in the cartoons, the whole 5th dimensional imps are already established, plus it's a nice contrast to most of DC's other offerings. It's not teen titans go, annoyingly, diabeticly oversweet, art style either.

@thecowwasdelirious: I want to argue with you, but after looking at like the JLU sneak peak...the art made me cringe, it's just ugly in the expressions.

Bat Mite? Man. Is he from the 5th dimension or something? Smells silly. I hope it's not canon.

The artwork is a turnoff. I wish they would've designed him like Brave and the Bold.

the Bizarro one makes my eyes hurt. And that's such a fucking bummer because i love Bizarro so damn much. You can see a consisent style being used for many of these, and man... Cyborg has Ivan Reis, which is great and Martian Manhunter looks good. But DC generally has the worst art out of all the companies, which sucks

@thecowwasdelirious: I can deal with the Bizarro, it is goofy and a mini-series, aimed towards people who know him from the cartoons likely enough, "Bizaaaarro here to saaaave the daaay~" I can deal with cartoonish/artsy and I like some surreal art with like watercolor look, but there's just stuff that sticks me, like facial expressions, anatomy not matching the art style, etc.

I reeeaaally think DC hangs on to certain artists just based on their name. Don't get me wrong, there's been some great art in the last 30-50 years, but that was through a different medium, technology has changed what you can print on paper, the paper type has changed, ink, the definition, etc. What looked fine in newsprint might not work well in today's paperbacks. The grade of artists willing to work on comic books now compared to 60 years ago is also vastly improved. I mean Image's Nonplayer and Autumnlands the art in there is amaaazing. There's so much talent out there.

I would follow Bat-Mite, but decided to read only the Bizarro.

@thecowwasdelirious: Yeah, it doesn't really appear to be aimed towards mature adults, I don't see them addressing any deep, what is the meaning of life, type issues in there. More just "derping" around. I could be mistaken, some cartoons that can be silly can also address deep issues in a mature fashion, but...we'll see.

I love Batmite! He is the epitome of modern day Batfan, who think Batman (a mere man) can defy any logic and think of every and anything to escape any situation.

Were those other imps with higher authorization cause how could anyone banish Bat-Mite? lol This dude is Mxy's level which is like uber powerful lol.

At any rate, if Squirrel Girl can be in top 5 selling the first few issues then so can Bat-Mite which at least is more practical given that he's an imp with great power.

I'm a Marvel fan and I don't love it. In fact, I'm sick of these baby books...

I like the artwork, it seems perfect for this kind of book (meaning overly silly and full of jokes)
