ugh... here you see a mary sue stereotype character with almost no personality, which only constant is that every writer tries to tell you how much more ridiculously "awesome" she is then the previous writer.

Not sure if that's an exact replica of War Machine, but yes it is another War-machine only this is time it's a girl. I believe she appeared in one of the issue of Invincible Iron-Man

I think this is just for marvel now. So line-up of books post secret wars. I wouldn't bet on the characters on the same pictures being actually connected though. I mean Captain Marvel and Slapstick? Maybe the characters will all have solo books.

And do we really want to make Doom the new Iron Man, because the other way around that would make way more sense.

I don't know back in the day people had ideas for dead characters identities and legacy these days they just seem to get killed of to make legacy characters.

Doom needs his own solo series since he's at least borderline hero now. He's one of the few marvel characters I give a hoot about and my favorite villain. If he's in an issue, i'm buying it.

also on your other comment about Doom being the new iron man i don't think thats the case. He has just been appearing a lot in Iron man and some people might not know Doom without his armour on.

Weird how aside from the Ms. America/ Doom cover the rest of them are basically a well known hero above a really obscure hero. Either way, it's sad that I really don't care about what's going on here even a little bit. The constant changes at Marvel makes me care less and less about these shake-ups. Show me an X-Men cover with Cyclops, Storm, Wolverine, Kitty, Jean Grey and Beast all united and not angry at each other and I'll have some interest in what Marvel's doing.

What interesting pair, they had some interaction in secret war A-Force but that was it. I'm excited to see where these pairs make an appearance in civil war. Iv'e always loved Miss America character has a character and I can't wait to see where the go with this. It's funny how people are already judging it when its just the cover art. Just give it time.

While she at least is suposed to be very smart and skilled (unlike some replacements), the bigger problem is that she is only 15 years old.

Yes, that's Riri Williams. She's a highly intelligent and tech-savvy student at MIT who's just finished building her own Iron Man suit. So far she's only appeared in Invincible Iron-Man and hasn't even meet Tony, James, or any of the Avengers yet.

Like when DC's idea was straight up just, "let kill every Green lantern, to make room for this Kyle guy" and hey we got the best Lantern out of it, so it's not always bad.

What's the point of bringing back the "NOW" imprint? I don't understand the reasoning. Is this another universe or just marketing for the sake of grabbing some headlines?

Well, the first Marvel now was made, because DCs new52 led to a lot of sales going to DC and they tried to suggerate a similiar restructuring in their universe or something to get them back. Currently DC has Rebirth, that leads to a lot of restructuring in that universe with a name attached to it. So I guess Marvel prepared this in an attempt to pretend there is something special about this new book line-up, because they expect losses in readership due to rebirth.

@stahlflamme: Okay, thank you for the explanation. Rebirth is good and I would say it's been successful as it's gotten me back to reading the Superman books which I fell away from during the course of N52. I am not sure how interested I am in any of these NOW featured characters, though. I guess it's a wait and see if anything really grabs my attention.

What this teaser seems to be implying is that Marvel is finally going to give America Chavez her own book? All the other characters at the top of these teasers have solo titles so it would be odd to put America her without one. About time! She's a superstar waiting to break out!
