Why does a all female cast get a female power variant? For a industry based upon talent and creativity, it just seems odd they would miss the obvious play and make a Male variant for A-force

Men are celebrated all year round. It's called Western society.

Don't you have a rally to plan for this Saturday?

Better a crybaby than a closet misogynist.

Good luck with your Man Month.

Hawkeye and Mockingbird covers are bleh to me, but damn that Hulk one is awesome.

Also guys can we please not start "Where's the Men of Power covers?!"? It's clear that they just want to highlight the women in comics since the vast majority of heroes are male. Stop acting like they're not giving male heroes any attention.

Here is a thought. If its supposed to be about diversity and equality, why do they feel the need to constantly focus on the MINORITIES and the WOMEN. All that tells their target audience, is that their heroes (the male counterparts) don't matter as much as the NEW female ones, or the NEW black one, or the NEW Muslim one.

That is the problem right there. The constant need for division in society. If we didn't have that division constantly thrown at us, whether artificially created or not, it would mean that as a society we wouldn't constantly be fighting with ourselves and America would become stronger for it. That is the only reason a Black History Month, and a Women's History Month exists. To maintain the status quo of Americans fighting with each other.

@theamazingmann: Lost me at the black history month thing man. Black History month is to educate people on the history of African americans, that's something that you should never forget and always carry with you going forward, especially as an African American. Its not to celebrate but to LEARN. That's also the difference between this whole female month thing...it's only to celebrate

@theamazingmann: Wrong. Things like Black History Month, or even organizations like BET and any other like collectives do not exist to divide. They exist BECAUSE of division. It's a symptom of self preservation. Imagine a cafeteria setting. You have the "jocks" and the "nerds." The nerds try to sit with the jocks and either A) are pushed out or B) ignored in most cases until they are "useful." The nerds eventually stop trying to sit with the jocks and make due with their own table and group of friends. Calling something like that "maintaining the status quo" is ignorant and victim blaming at best. I imagine if someone get's lost in the wilderness and kills a rabbit for food your going to blame their survival on human need for maintaining power through violence or something?

Black History Month wouldn't exist if American history as it relates to black people was taught year round with the same attention and detail it does with it's white counterparts. But sadly a majority of that history is pushed aside to chapters on slavery and jazz at best. Which in many places of the country are still very limited and shoddy.

I get where your coming from with not wanting be people to be divided but your aim is off. The only people at fault are the "jocks" who segregate and show bias towards themselves in the first place, not those who build their own communities and honors in the wake of rejection. To do so is just ignorant and a big reason why minorities and subjugated groups take words of men or white people with a grain of salt.
