Gee, I wonder where they got the idea for the new design...

Is Ryan Choi the All New Atom(yes DC did that one way before marvel) from back in the day after Atoms ex-wife murdered a person by growing inside his brain? I hope so wouldn't speak for the people on this book, if they created a new character like that despite there already existing a similiar character that would be perfectly fine.

Yay, Ryan is back! I still remember the huge shitstorm over when DC killed him off.

Been waiting for Ryan to become a major player, especially after what was revealed in DC rebirth.

Other revealed members according to my blowing up twitter feed are The Ray and Vixen with Ivan Reis on art.

So far DC has announced Vixen and Ryan Choi as members so far... very interested to see who the other members will be. I'm just glad that this team looks to have a completely different roster than the proper Justice League title!

Also really happy that they got Ivan Reis on JLA, that dude really deserves to be put on high profile books!

I hope this will be better than the meh current JL.

@nickschuff: according to the DC Rebirth pic they had other members mostly likely Shazam and Martian Manhunter. There could be others such as batman as such but won't know till February 2017

Ray and Killer Frost

@dondave: Ray as in the Ray from Freedom Fighters? And Killer Frost is joining the Justice League? I didn't expect that.

I'm most pleased about Vixen joining the Justice League personally, she adds an interesting dynamic and unique powerset to the League. I liked Vixen's sub plot in Dwayne McDuffie's Justice League of America run so hopefully Vixen doesn't go to waste on this Justice League series.

Oh right I see my mistake. I'm mainly familiar with Ray Terril so that's better.

When did they announce Vixen?

Meh tbh, feels like it's catered towards the people who watch those terrible Berlanti shows(Killer Frost really?), wouldn't be surprised if Vibe, Green Arrow, Black Canary and Martian Manhunter are the remaining members. Still my contempt for the CWishness aside, DC has succeeded in pulling a Marvel without alienating long time fans.

I have a feeling if he stood next to Adam Strange their costumes might look similar. Not that that's all bad.

@entropy_aegis: I mean at least the CW shows are pushing characters that DC wouldn't have been touching for a while.

Putting a character on CW is hardly a push, it's a fringe network for people that wont bother with comics usually. They could atleast have made it up with quality. I'll keep an open mind but I'm not really feeling any urge to mark this as a priority book from my end.

@princearagorn1: Maybe to you! I'm far more interested in this than the other JL title. Besides it gives the rest of us who are sick to death of the boring so called A list JL we've been getting for the past 5 years.

My guess on the roster is: Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, Vibe, Firestorm, Vixen, The Atom, The Ray and Frost. And I couldn't be happier.

@entropy_aegis: Can I ask what you don't like about the Arrowverse shows? & how is putting a character that gets no love in film/comics on a very popular TV show not giving them a push? You may not like the shows but their ratings are solid & many people (both comic readers & non-readers) tune in weekly. It is very much so a push in my book. I thinkGreen Arrow season 1, 2 & half of season 3 are amazing. The Flash is amazing, Legends of Tomorrow is like an Avengers movie every week & Supergirl is a refreshing change from the male based leads while still being interesting. I just wish CW had picked up Constantine then I'd have a great DC Arrowverse show Mon-Friday.

This is sweet! Can't wait to read this. My pull list is pretty much DC and indies . Sadly Tom kings amazing vision run will be done by then , but I can also add JLA to my pull list as a replacement.No more garbage marvel comics for a while.

Steve Orlando's additions to his Justice League are looking good so far! The only one that worries me and that I don't like at all is Killer Frost. I just don't see the need for the push for popularity for her characters, she doesn't deserve to be relevant.

Looks like we're finally getting a good Justice League series for the Rebirth era

On one hand I wanted the Atom subplot of the DC Rebirth to be part of the main JL series (to avoid more expenses mainly) but on the other Im glad Hitch is staying away from this.

As for the series itself, I dont feel inclined to it since I've never read or heard anything interesting about those characters and it better has more members because 4 people is barely a group, much less a league

I'm not really interested in discussing Berlanti verse here or well DC's tv output as a whole. But you like them and that's all that matters I guess.

Interesting roster so far. They didn't even try to mask the Arrow-verse cast mirroring though.

Definitely excited for the title with Ivan Reis on it. I still haven't read anything I really liked from Steve Orlando though (with the current Night of the Monster Men being a disaster) so I'm very cautious about it.

I saw a video where the black Aqualad from Young Justice fights her in a sea port. Maybe we should check again. Join @d_bones comic book movie character tournament soon. We need votes.

actually DC's All New All Different is inspired by 70s X-Men so no they didnt :p

the killer frost in Young Justice is a previous KF, the one joining the JLA is Caitlin Snow.

@entropy_aegis: To be fair, Arrow, Canary, and considering the previous line-up, Vibe, would be sound members on any incarnation of the Justice League. People have been crying for Manhunter in the League for ages.
