Over the past month, there's been a lot of speculation as to who Chris Pine is playing the DC Universe films. There were rumors that Pine would be playing Steve Trevor in the Wonder Woman film, then more rumors that he'd be playing Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern Corps film, but now, it all seems settled as Pine closed a deal. According to TheWrap, Pine closed a multi-movie deal to play Steve Trevor, the love interest for Wonder Woman.
Directing Wonder Woman is Patty Jenkins, who will be joined by Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder as producers. Jason Fuchs wrote the script. Wonder Woman will first be introduced in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice next year, then get her own solo film on June 23, 2017.
