I hope this Cap is more of the Kickass Martial Arts Master from TWS rather than the Super-Human Gymnast from The Avengers lol.

YEEEEES he was a beast in TWS, his kicks put people to sleep, i hope Whedon keeps Russo's version for Cap and Widow, but i doubt it. In TA he was kinda boring for me while fighting.

Evans recently in an interview said that his fighting style evolves in this movie.

@lukehero: Wow, awesome thanks! Now I'm really excited about this movie. Seems like they saved a lot of the fight scenes and action from the trailers for the movie.

@slimj87d: Even for the last trailer I doubt they will show us the real good stuff outside of Hulk vs Iron Man. Falcon, Hymdall, Rohdey, and some others are supposed to be in this movie. My guess is the end is going to be balls to the walls all out war vs Ultron and his killer Robots.

The silly fanboy inside of me is hyped he is gonna clearly be above Deathstroke(CW). I think he already is, but itw debatlable. After this film and probably Civil War(Fightig Spiderman, Fighting Ironman), it won't be up for any debate.

Also this raises the stakes for Batman vs Superman.

This makes me happy. While I enjoyed Cap's display of strength and speed in The First Avenger and in The Avengers, he rarely showed anything that resembled the Martial Arts master we see him as in the comics. But The Winter Soldier changed that, showing that Cap has obviously been training since he woke up in the present day and that he is someone you don't want to get in a fight with.

So when Evens says they're showing what Cap can bring to the team, it get me excited. Since Cap will be going up against Ultron and his drones, and assuming both Ultron himself and his drones will be at a least Iron Man-level of strength, seeing how Cap handles those kind of threats is something I'm interested in seeing and I'm glad they're developing that side of Cap. One thing I notice every time while watching The Avengers is that while Cap is the first to face off against Loki, nothing he really did HURT Loki. Every kick and punch didn't really even phase Loki, so if Cap's going to be facing threats with that kind of level of strength in the future, they will need to show how he intends to handle those threats on his own.

@war_killer: Yeah. He did have strength feats in Avengers though. He was one shotting chitauri soldiers who are quite durable. They can jump off buildings and land 100s of feet onto the ground, etc.

They did a nice job in keeping in line with his look from the comics, Chris Evans does a good job playing him I think it is his best worl to date and likely what will define his career.

@war_killer: He never should be able to handle a Loki Level Villian on his own. We can have Loki Fighting Thor, Surving a beating from the Hulk, then struggling with Cap. But, I am happy he is still being upgraded when it comes to the fighting. I am happy Whedon, Chris, Feige and the homies have a full awareness of this.

Anyway I read Thors fighting style is also being upgraded. Hemsworth said Thor will make better use of the environment: tossing cars, tearing things in half, etc.

As far as the fighting goes I actually have high expectations now after reading this. I hope Baron Strucker and Cap have an amazing H2H fight.

True, but even Black Widow was taking those guys down on her own, so I'm not sure if those are the best examples of his strength feats seeing as they were mostly there to give The Avengers something to punch. Hopefully Ultron's drones will put up more of a fight, giving the team some serious threats to deal with.

@war_killer: That would just be good feats for widow. She was using mostly gear to take them out anyway. I expect the robots to be superstrong car lifters with Iron Man like blasts. Basically litte Ultron babies.
