Black Widow #1
Best Use of Color to Convey Pain
Black Widow is on the run and fighting a swarm of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. A big one grabs her from behind, and she head-butts him. She has to do it a couple times. Each time they connect, the scene turns red.
Best Way to Escape Falling to Your Death
After Black Widow jumps off a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier to flee from her pursuers, she doesn't really have a way to get to the ground safely. It's possible she knows agents will continue to chase her in flying cars and jetpacks. She easily liberates a jetpack from an agent while triggering his parachute to gain more distance from him.
Batman and Robin Eternal #22
Best Reason Not to Have a Defeating Attitude
The Bat-Family has been dealing with a threat from Batman's past. Dick Grayson wonders if this is a battle they can't win. Damian Wayne doesn't want to hear that kind of talk and gives him a big smack across the face. Damian knows they can defeat their opponent.
Best Father and Son Moment
In a flashback, Damian feels he isn't living up to his full potential after a training session with his father, It's explained the priority isn't to make Damian the perfect soldier but rather for him make his own decisions.
Deadpool #8
Best Use of Mouth-to-Mouth Resuscitation
Deadpool needs answers about a time in his past because his memories have been tampered with. The guy he was questioning went into cardiac arrest before giving any information. Apparently when Deadpool gives mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, he does it in a vigorous fashion.
Old Man Logan #3
Best Reaction to a Time-Displaced Member of the X-Men
Old Man Logan, Wolverine from the future, somehow arrived in the present. He seeks out Hawkeye, and he finds Kate Bishop at his place. He explains his situation, and her reaction is simply, "Oh." She's fully aware of how often the X-Men get mixed up in time travel.
Deadly Class #19
Best Looney Tunes-Type Defense
Students at the Kings Dominion School of the Deadly Arts are fighting for their lives when their final exams pit student against student. Some students set up a trap on the streets of San Francisco that looks like it's straight out of a Looney Tunes cartoon. You can find more information on this fight in this week's Best Battles.
Uncanny Avengers #6
Best Way to Travel with a Speedster
Deadpool and Quicksilver are working together. Deadpool came up with the idea of having a Dead-Sled that Quicksilver could pull instead of carrying him "like a giant baby." Quicksilver doesn't agree.
Midnighter #10
Best Take Down of Enemy Soldiers
Midnighter is escaping from Amanda Waller. After taking out a couple agents with powers, he simply plows through the rest of her soldiers.
Avengers Standoff: Assault on Pleasant Hill Alpha #1
Best Use of S.H.I.E.L.D. Communications
Some S.H.I.E.L.D. agents have been ordered not to have communication with the outside world. They manage to hack the system in order to watch football on all the screens.
Predator: Life and Death #1
Best Stating of the Obvious During an Attack by a Predator
Some soldiers get attacked by a Predator. When one gets his head blown off, the reaction is "Man down." He's definitely down and won't be getting back up.
Invincible Iron Man #7
Best Reaction to Discovering Mary Jane Has Peter Parker's Emergency Number
Tony Stark is trying to contact Peter Parker because he's close to where War Machine was last seen. Parker isn't available to take the call but Mary Jane has his emergency number due to their past. This is a surprise to Stark.

Best Example of How You Shouldn't Act Towards Your Girlfriend
Rigby is playing video games when his girlfriend comes over with brownies. His reaction towards having his game interrupted is pretty harsh with her. He doesn't see the effort she went through in making and delivering them, stating that they're in a relationship, and it's what people do for each other.
Spider-Man #2
Best Iron Man Story Arc Reference
The Avengers and Miles Morales just fought the demon Blackheart. Iron Man makes a reference to the 1979 story arc, Demon in a Bottle.
Best Indication You're in Big Trouble
Miles Morales is a smart kid. The problem is his activities as Spider-Man have had an affect on his schoolwork. Arriving home, he finds his mom with her hands on her hips and his grandmother with her arms crossed, threatening to kick him in his culo.
Green Lantern #50
Best Animals Made out of Light Constructs
Hal Jordan is fighting Parallax, an evil version of himself from an alternate Earth. He makes a herd of giant rams to knock Parallax back.
Uncanny X-Men #4
Best Reason to Accept a Cup of Tea Over a Fight
The Dark Riders are hunting down and killing mutant healers. When they track down Shen Xorn, he offers them a cup of tea. Obviously they choose to fight him and soon have to retreat from the battle.
Giant Days #12
Best Reason to Read Instructions for Pitching a Tent
Pitching a tent isn't necessarily the hardest thing to do. If someone has done it often, it might be a good idea to read the directions. If you don't and end up with extra pieces, you might want to hang onto them.
Darth Vader #17
Best Reason Not to Lie to Darth Vader
If you ever have to work with or for Darth Vader, you should know there are simply things you do not do. Lying is one of them. Vader makes it clear you can only lie to him once. You won't get the chance to lie to him a second time because you'll be dead.
