So I guess this Uncanny Avengers arc means Hawkeye was right and that Bruce was going to turn into the Hulk. I haven't seen anything to suggest how exactly he was becoming the Hulk again but it's a least comforting in that stupid plot that on top of being a killer of Bruce he wasn't losing his skill of perception or was a liar.

@eto: It's good so far, but it's only had it's first issue and was mainly setting up some basic plot elements. So it's a bit early to recommend it. Even if you're not a fan of Kate if you haven't already I suggest you read Fraction's Hawkeye if you are really against her she splits off and does her own thing for a couple issues so you can skip those if you must. Hawkeye vs Deadpool was also a fun little read but that to had Kate in it.

There hasn't been much with just Clint in it except for New Avengers but he was a minor part in that series where a lot of his scenes feeling more like an after thought. There is also Secret Avengers but I have yet to read that so I have no idea if it's good or not. There is also that .Avengers title coming out that's focusing on Cap's Kooky Quartet during that period in Avenger's histoy where it was just Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Hawkeye which was decent so far.

@Feartheliving: thanks man

aah only 1 issue so far. Okay then.

Yeah Kate is cool btw. Maybe I'll pick up her newest run if it's good.

Fraction's run was awesome! Absolutely loved it.

Not really. No one else saw Bruce turning (despite many people having enhanced sight) and it's not actually explained why bruce was able to turn into the hulk in uncanny avengers despite amadeus curing him.

Clint saw him turning. And Bruce coming back as the Hulk sort of signifies that he was able to turn into the Hulk otherwise he would have just come back as Bruce lacking the ability to turn into the Hulk to face the not-Avengers. So yeah while it hasn't been explained how he was able to get the Hulk back he must have found a way (or Hulk was never fully gone) given what transpired.

As long as the series doesn't mimic that sentiment which it hasn't so far I'll continue to read. If it becomes a "let's bash Clint every chance we get" series even though it's suppose to be focusing on Kate I'll drop the series.

@Feartheliving: It's the Hand's magic. Bruce always has the Hulk inside him. The Hulk is a manifestation of all his suppressed anger and whatever. I'm sure magic can do what gamma does.

Uh, just because Detective Chimp solved the case and Batman was surprised doesn't imply Batman couldn't solve it, or even couldn't solve it as easily, or even solve it faster. He could have just been surprised Detective Chimp solved it all, solved it so quickly, or solved it as quickly as he did.

Maybe but that's not really explained at all in the issue and if they could just do that with magic it seems a little pointless to get Bruce specifically even if he has a connection to the Hulk.

@thedailybagel: @blues32: @Feartheliving: Pretty sure this was explained in Captain America: Steve Rogers #5. Captain America manipulated Banner into experimenting on himself with Gamma Radiation.

It's almost as if there is a lack of collaboration between all the editors and all the writers. Some would even say that the narrative is inconsistent.

@superior_prime_maybe: Could be or could be that there is a set answer that they haven't revealed, or that it was alluded to like @maddpanda531 said in Captain America #5 (personally I didn't feel it was that clear that he was though it is very well possible).

That being said it wouldn't be the first time a comic company pulled a boo boo with continuity and it won't be the last. Plus Bendis who doesn't give a crap about continuity basically makes everyone else work twice as hard to fix his mistakes.

They had Cho play basketball with Lin? So they had two Asian people in the same comic for diversity's sake? That just seems so heavy-handed and PSA-ish.

Hulk Cho ruined the character for me, I feel like even his personality changed, or maybe is just bad writting.

I love how Supes doesn't prioritise his fight with Doomsday, the many JLA adventures, or the classic fights against Luthor or Brainiac or whoever. He says, and likely fully believes, that the best thing he did in the costume was meeting Lois. Jon would've been amazed with whatever he said, but he chooses that.

Just like last week (I think last week), I found the allergy comment from Birds of Prey this week insensitive and offensive. For many people this is life and death in their daily lives. I wish you wouldn't highlight this comment as something that is the "Best Stuff". Really, its the worst.

My opinion on why I think Marvel is better then DC Comics. This one is pretty easy and it is the accessibility to the Marvel books. With the time off over the holidays i have really dug into Marvel Unlimited, The A vrs X trade and A vrs X companion that have been sitting on the book case untouched for months. I also buy direct editions and consume mostly the big 2. When I go to my brick and mortar book comic shop DC Comics reign supreme. Their price 2.99$ as opposed to Marvel 3.99$ and 4.99$.That is the only go to mArket strategy that DC is currently beating Marvel with. When I get my comics home i have a download code o. Marvel which makes a nice collection on the internet. DC goes straight to the long box never to be zeen again and these long boxes are a pain in my butt.

Marvel beats the pants off of DC in their Colleted editions. Prime example A vrs X companion is a collection of 50 comics in a hard back and I believe the cost around $75$ maybe less on the right web site. I already have my eye on the Marvel Now Avengers Omnibus by Jonathan Hickman and the X-Men Legacy Legion Omnibus that are go in to be released. Not sure where the DC runs are but i would be interested in buying some. It would be great if DC could come out with New 52 Absolute collections and give us the first half of The New 52.

Beating the drum. I am a Marvel Unlimited subscriber. When i read Marvel Unlimited it just makes me want to buy more Marvel Comics. When I can't afford another DC Book on new comic day that book is forgotten about forever.

Last but not least, Alot of my Marvel comics are bought from their website via Print Sub. Books are mailed directly to my house at 50% off the cover price. Sure I am a week behind and my books might have a wrinkle from the mail man. I could really care less. I can still collect and more importantly enjoy the continuity and i internet forums.

I read new comics, digital comics, Trades Hard Cover and Soft, Runs from a dollar box. I do not discriminate on a comic. If i think i would like it i decide if i can afford it. If so I read it.
