Next up is Dave Johnson's cover B.P.R.D.: 1948 #5. The cover is simple but very eerie, particularly the reflection of the the character in the green pool below. The minimal colors gives the image a lot of emphasis as well.

The cover to BALTIMORE: THE WIDOW AND THE TANK one-shot is really lovely. It is dark, grim, and captures the mood and tone of the issue beautifully. Artist Ben Stenbeck uses minimal colors and it is perfect for the issue.

The cover to BATWOMAN #17 is absolutely breathtaking. J.H. Williams III delivers a beautifully stylized cover featuring Kate emerging through the fire. It's a powerful image of the character and really beautifully done.

We loved the cover to CAPTAIN MARVEL #10 by Joe Quinones. Not only is this cover really beautiful, but it also very simply captures a somber moment. It's a great portrayal of Carol in a sad, pensive state.

Artist Gabriel Rodriguez captures creepy in a big way on the latest cover to LOCKE & KEY #3. Again, not a lot of color but plenty of depth make this an eye-catching cover.

Last but not least is the cover to THE SHADOW YEAR ONE #1 by artist Alex Ross. It's a stunning silhouette of the character highlighted by the figure of a beautiful woman.
