It's that time of the week. Time to look at the latest edition of Best Battles in New Comics. Comics often feature big battles with superheroes fighting supervillains. Sometimes we even have superheroes fighting other superheroes. Get ready to cheer and possibly cringe at the brutal punches being thrown.
There will be some spoilers below!
(By Tony Daniel, James Bonny, Eduardo Pansica, Sandu Florea, and Arif Prianto)
Deathstroke and Wonder Woman have basically been forced to work together to try to defeat the evil god Lapetus. The battle shifts to Themyscira and it's getting pretty brutal. When Lapetus knocks Wonder Woman away and Deathstroke tries going to check on her, the late-arriving Superman assumes the worse.
Superman is very protective and Deathstrokes knows there isn't time to fill him in on what's going on. Using his god-killing sword, made by Hephaestus, he tries to knock some sense into Superman.
The sword reacts on its own as well. As Superman continues to attack Deathstroke, it unleashes more force upon him. Just when Deathstroke thinks he put a stop to the Man of Steel, he sees that it's not quite over. Superman breaks free and the fight continues.
Deathstroke is holding his own against Superman. He tries explaining that they're on the same side, but Superman is just too fast.
What happens next? What should happen is you make a trip to your local comic shop and buy the issue.

Things are not going well for Logan. After leaving his domain (on Battleworld), he discovered another region with alternate-reality versions of his friends and enemies (in the Age of Apocalypse region). After making his way to other domains (like the Armor Wars area), he ends up getting dumped in the Deadlands. This is where the Marvel Zombies (and zombie symbiotes) reside.
He fights and he fights. He fights so much he loses track of how long he's been there. The zombies and zombie symbiotes try overwhelming him but he manages to repel them. Finding shelter in a cave, he discovers an ally. Unfortunately he doesn't get too long to rest as the attack begins again.
He goes out to fight some more. He does what he does best but it's just not quite enough. He eventually gets bit by a zombie.
He gets another little break but he might wish he was allowed to continue fighting when he figures out what's coming up next.

In the world of SPREAD, something deadly has been unleashed upon the world. With the horrifying organism that's loose, no one is really safe. And by no one, that includes animals out in the wilderness.
As soon as the bear sees the threat, it knows it should run instead of try to fight. But the bear gets grabbed by the organism. That gives the bear no choice but to fight.
You don't want to mess with a grizzly. It looks like the threat has been defeated! Look at all that gross goo. If you've been reading the series so far, you probably know what's coming up. Fighting these things isn't the safest thing to do, even if you can win. The bear starts to suddenly not feel too well.
Maybe the bear didn't quite win after all. We'll refrain from showing you the unfortunate next shot. We do recommend for you to read the series.
