Best Battles in New Comics: 11-27-15

This week, we're featuring fights from DARTH VADER #13, BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL #8, and TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #52.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving (that celebrates it). It's that time of the week. Time to look at the latest edition of Best Battles in New Comics. Comics often feature big battles with superheroes fighting supervillains. Sometimes we even have superheroes fighting other superheroes. Get ready to cheer and possibly cringe at the brutal punches being thrown.

There will be some spoilers below!

DARTH VADER #13

(By Kieron Gillen, Salvador Larroca, and Edgar Delgado)

In last week's VADER DOWN #1, Darth Vader came out of hyperspace just as the Rebel Alliance was practicing maneuvers above the planet where Luke Skywalker was supposed to be. There was a fierce battle with many deaths (you can see highlights HERE) and things ended with Luke ramming into Vader's ship.

The Rebels knew this was their chance to get Vader alone.

When they refused to surrender to him, he gave them a surprise. Using the Force, he set off their thermal detonators.

Not willing to give up so easily, the Rebels pushed on. Unfortunately when a tank fired upon him, it didn't go exactly as they hoped it would.

And still, the Rebels won't give up. Makes you wonder how Luke could stand a chance against him.

BATMAN AND ROBIN ETERNAL #8

(By James Tynion IV, Scott Snyder, Genevieve Valentine, Alvaro Martinez, Raul Fernandez, and Sandra Molina)

Dick Grayson, Harper Row, and Cassandra Cain have gone to Prague to learn more on the mystery from Batman's past and his connection to the woman known as Mother. As Dick confronts Mother, Harper and Cass discover there's more to the show they're watching than they anticipated.

Dick might be too busy to help, but it looks like Harper and Cass have a good grasp on the situation.

Things get really interesting when a really skilled fighter sets her sights on Cass.

Uh oh. Cass got hit from behind. Cheap shot! Cass and Harper are about to find themselves completely surrounded by evil reinforcements.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #52

(By Kevin Eastman, Bobby Curnow, Tom Waltz, Ken Garing, and Ronda Pattison)

The status quo has changed a bit for the Ninja Turtles after the events of issue #50. The problem is, there are some that don't approve of the new management and Master Splinter in charge of things. He easily brushes off a sneak attack but discovers there's more going on.

If getting attacked wasn't bad enough, these guys can somehow walk through walls.

When the others hear the commotion going on, they're unable to see how Splinter is doing since they now have their hands full too.

They can't even strike their opponents. Their weapons and fists go right through them.

Is this the end? What do you think? Don't rule out the Turtles just yet.

Bonus

We usually limit this to the top three battles but I just really loved these two pages in ALL-NEW WOLVERINE #2.
