Deadly Class #18

(By Rick Remender, Wes Craig, and Jordan Boyd)

It's time for final exams at Kings Dominion Atelier of the Deadly Arts. Some of the students come from privileged families with a legacy of assassins. In order to pass the exams, these privileged students must kill the students new to the school known as "rats." Things have turned pretty ugly and messy.

One of the students, Willie, has been targeted because he lied about the kills his reputation was built on. As Willie and his girlfriend Saya are being chased through the school, she turns the tables on their pursuers in the library.

Saya is one of the deadliest students at the school. Highly skilled with a sword, she easily handles a fellow student wielding a gun.

Despite her skills, she is outnumbered and there are a lot lot of guns pointed in her direction.

What?!? Did they just kill off Saya? We've already seen that no one is really safe in this series. You'll have to read the issue to find out what happens next.

Deathstroke #14

(By James Bonny, Tyler Kirkham, and Arif Prianto)

Deathstroke's daughter, Rose, was kidnapped. His just finished fighting his way through Belle Reve (where the members of the Suicide Squad are kept locked up). That turned out to be a setup and his latest intel takes him to LexCorp. Lex Luthor's building is loaded with security. Deathstroke quickly recovers from half a dozen tasers blasted at him and makes short work of the guards.

Working his way deeper into the sub-levels, he next comes up on the latest generation of Lexbots.

Even though the bots have titanium shielding, he knows there's always a weakness that can be exploited. Deathstroke comes across Lex's highly skilled bodyguard, Mercy Graves, who puts him through his paces. As he recovers, she exits and in comes Lex's warsuit.

It's a brutal fight but some blasts from the suit's wrist gauntlets take out a section of the floor, sending Deathstroke further down. What he's about to face is even worse.

Daredevil #3

(By Charles Soule, Ron Garney, and Matt Milla)

Daredevil is using both his civilian and superheroes identities to stop the crimelord/cultleader known as Tenfingers in both his civilian and superhero identities. He just found out the power Tenfingers wields was stolen from the evil and mystical order of ninjas known as the Hand. Despite their deadly skills, Tenfingers does not fear for his life or that of his people.

Daredevil knows from experience how serious the situation is. He arrives to stop Tenfingers and knows this isn't his fight. He could simply walk away and let the two evil forces fight each other. Of course there's no way Matt Murdock can just leave while lives are at risk.

Tenfingers' fighters are highly skilled. It looks as if they may stand a decent chance against the Hand. The problem is there's such a large number of the Hand present. It might even be too much for Daredevil.

Is this the end for Matt Murdock? His new series just started. We'd show you what happens next but we're out of time.
