Be Cool Scooby-Doo! - "Mystery 101" Clip and Images

And now for something...completely different!

Can't say I care for it, but I can't say I ever cared for Scooby-Doo. I guess you can't blame them for wanting to try something new after doing the same bit for forty-five years straight.

@batwatch: The last version, Mystery Incorporated, was pretty good for Scooby. They even did a Twin Peaks-themed episode.

We went from Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated to this.

Am I the only one that noticed Daphne is no longer wearing her trademark hot pink tights?

yeah, and Blue Falcon showed up as a Frank Miller-style badass!

(i didn't care for the finale, though)

I'll be checking this out, but not sure I'm gonna like it. What's the deal with the puppets?

The screenshots lowered my expectations so low that I actually kind of enjoyed the clip. Looks like it might end up being fun if you watch it for what it is

Give it time and someone will complain that Thelma is too thin and the show is fat shaming

Oh, well most of the show was science-based and the Scooby-Doo franchise goes back and forth with science and magic.

what the heck is up with the art style!? Its just but ugly. It looks like a family guy parody of scooby doo. Oh well at least its mostly traditional animation. I half expected it to be completely CG.

That art makes me want to gouge myeyes out.

Well... I´m sure the kids will like it.

The art style looks like Family Guy and Gravity Fall's love child. It doesn't mesh well with Scooby.

This has a pretty high bar to reach for. Mystery Inc was really good.

Gonna have to work hard to top Mystery Inc. Animation style on this reminds me of Family Guy.

On the bright side no Scrappy Doo.

Well, I am definitely interested. At first i was hesitant cause i really haven't cared for Scooby-Doo in a while since the original series. But this really looks good.I like the quirky vibe, the self-aware style of comedy mixed in with level-headedness. Also, DAPHNE IS NO LONGER JUST A FINE LOOKING PIECE OF......They actually found a way to make her funny and appealing.

That clip did not make me excited. I'll give the show a try, but so far it seems like I may just have to rewatch Scooby Doo Mystery Inc.

I used to LOVE a pup named scooby doo back in the late 80s early 90s growing up. the classic ones just seem to have gotten out of touch with current times, maybe this might be something good. i still can't undestand why they would have them still dressed as if it's the 70s though... i guess to give it that touch of being classic.

She was always interesting, and especially so in the Mystery Inc cartoon. That being said they seem to have made her a bit silly in this one.

@amazingwebhead: there was no magic in it actually. It was all sci-fi (extradimensiinal aliens and all that) which technically didnt go against the shows mo (my weak way of justifying it cuz I loved it)

It's different. So they have that going for them. The kids should like it and that's what matters. The style of Mystery Inc. was pretty bad ass though.

I'm not being able to get into this. I'm seeing the art direction on this show as just so bland. Why model the characters off of that easy Go-Animate style? And they're really doing that Family Guy 3/4 perspective thing with the characters?

Due to the success of TEEN TITANS GO, they have cancelled perhaps the greatest Scooby show of all time, Mystery Incorporated to make Be Cool Scooby Doo!!! They have also cancelled perhaps the greatest looney tunes show, The Looney Tunes Show, to make something called the Wabbit!!!

Do you now understand what you have done by watching that show..?? The next show they are gonna ruin now is Batman. Do you want a bobble head Batman, Cause you are definitely gonna get it!!!

This is awful. Worst of all, they made Velma skinny.
