Battle of the Week: Joker and Harley Quinn vs. Bullseye

The lethal marksman from Marvel or DC's twisted and unpredictable duo? It's time to choose! And yeah, you're going to want to read the rules for this one.

Ladies and gentlemen, we're straying just a little bit from the Battle of the Week's usual formula for this one. Not only is this a two versus one brawl, but it also takes place in a unique setting. So yes, that means the rules are critical here and shame on you if you vote without taking a minute to read them. Seriously, they're important, so don't be a slacker. Now, for the Batman Villains' latest Battle of the Week, we thought why not toss Harley Quinn and Joker into a match? Joker's unpredictable ways and Harley Quinn's agility will make them difficult to face, but what happens when they take on Bullseye, one of Marvel's bloodthirsty villains? Will their crazy ways and use of the location allow them to overcome their accurate opponent or will Bullseye put down two of Batman's fiends once and for all?

Seeing as Daredevil's able to dodge Bullseye's attacks because of his radar sense and that isn't a luxury these two DC baddies have, we thought we'd balance things out by making the two Bat-foes feel at home in the environment. But is that enough for them to defeat Bullseye? There's a lot to think about here. Will Harley and the Clown Prince of Crime stick together? How will the location help and harm both sides? What happens when it comes down to close combat? How many times can the DC characters get tagged before dropping? Will Bullseye's arrogance play a role? Okay, ready to read the rules? Let's go!

Match Rules

  • Combatants are in character. To make things interesting, Joker and Harley Quinn are still in a relationship during this battle. How well things are going between them during the fight, though... well, that's for you to think about.
  • Standard versions. (Seeing as we don't know what Endgame means for Joker, assume this is the version before that. And yes, this is obviously fully functional Bullseye.)
  • The fight takes place in mid-sized theme park at night. It's unpopulated but the power is on. That means all of the lights, rides and buildings are active. Just to give you a better picture, let's say the place has a roller coaster, a fun house, a haunted house, several smaller game booths, and assorted rides you'd usually see at a theme park.
  • Joker is armed with a revolver, acid flower, hand buzzer, two knives, and one grenade. Harley has her signature hammer and pistol. Bullseye is carrying a great variety of throwing weapons -- he has everything from assorted daggers to throwing stars to playing cards to two sai. And yes, there is a booth with the BB gun game.
  • They begin 100 feet apart and visible. There's plenty of cover in the area. Everything from rides to booths are around them.
  • Neither side knows about the opposition; they just know they're in danger.
  • Incapacitation, knockout, death or submission/surrender all count as elimination.
  • Hey, you know what would be really cool? Treating everyone else in the debate with respect. If you think someone's saying something that just isn't true, go ahead and stick to the facts to point out why. There's no need at all to drop insults just because you disagree with someone. Seriously, this is just talking about a fictional fight, there's no need for immaturity and mudslinging.
  • If you think the poll isn't going how it should, making an informative post about why a character is being underestimated and spreading the word is far more useful than just complaining.
  • One more thing: you don't need to write an essay to have your post highlighted in Friday's article. Sometimes concise posts can be way more effective than a flood of paragraphs.
