What makes these figures different from the Black Series by Hasbro is they're die cast metal. The figure stands at 7 1/4" and includes a base and gun.

No Caption Provided

The metal really works on this figure. It gives it a nice look. It's easier to capture the look of the character from the movie compared to the other figures with their faces revealed like Rey and Finn.

No Caption Provided

Despite being die cast, there is some articulation. You can bend the arms at the elbows for different poses. The figure also has articulation at the wrists that allow you to rotate them.

Captain Phasma wore a cape in the Force Awakens and the figure comes with a molded one. Molded capes sometimes look a little cheap or awkward, but it's molded in a nice position that allows for a more dramatic look.

No Caption Provided

There is a little square that can be seen on the back of the cape. Is it a pocket? I haven't heard or read why this detail would be added to the figure.

No Caption Provided

Phasma's armor looks like a typical Stormtrooper's besides the chrome finish. She must have all sorts of goodies in her pouches and compartments.

No Caption Provided

There is some slight articulation in the neck. You can move the head a little left or right and down.

The figures each have a Star Wars base with one peg that fits into a hole on the bottom of a foot.

No Caption Provided

There is also a tiny bit of articulation in the legs and ankles. This is about as high as her leg goes.

No Caption Provided

I also have a Flametrooper figure, and a regular First Order Stormtrooper is available if you want her to have a squad to command.

No Caption Provided

You can't really see it from the front but the figure does have a thermal detonator on her back like regular Stormtroopers.

No Caption Provided

What's nice about the figure is it looks really good and has a retail price of about twenty-five dollars. The plastic Black Series figures go for close to twenty so there's not too much of a price difference.

No Caption Provided

With the convenient size and reasonable price, the figure will make a great addition to your personal collection. It'll also look cool sitting on a shelf or on your desk.

Decent. I'd save for the Hot Toys Phasma instead, though. None of the Hasbro stuff has a reflective chrome finish.

Black Series for $20 was decent especially for a debut like that....could have been so much better.

Picked up the elite series Kylo Ren & a first order stormtrooper. Both figures have fantastic sculpts and look fantastic in my display. My only gripe with this series is the severe lack of basic articulation. These figures do not have elbow swivel so I can't even get into a basic gun across the chest pose. So really they are more metal statues with a few moving parts. The only other issue with these (although it doesn't bother me at all) is the 5-8 massive screw holes in the back, figures like kylo and phasma lucky have capes that cover most of them but the stormtrooper they are all visible. I personally think these look better in sculpt than the black series. But be warned the articulation is very limited and there are screw holes in the back of the figure

You could easily primer this figure, then get some nice chrome spray paint, and totally re-do her to give her the chrome look. And buy 2 so you have one in box because yadayadayada....

Not Chrome enough imo, I don't much care for the random pocket on the cape. However the price is certainly fair

@donfelipe: I was referring to regular Stormtroopers. They have the cylindrical thermal detonators. Flametroopers do not have them because they have a giant backpack of combustable stuff on their back. So the text is exactly what I meant.

@galerion: She's supposed to have a bigger role in the next one. Let's hope she gets to do something cool.

She just a generic Boba Fett clone though so it doesn't matter how bigger of a role she has if the character is bland to begin with. Also her mask voice sucks and i love a villain with a good mask voice, Darth Vadar, Cooler from Dragon Ball Z etc. She looks really cool though so i got no problem buying her figures.

@g_man: Aw man, you were talking and referring to the little thing above their waistline and I totally confused the detonator with the giant fuel tank. That's quite embarrassing! Thanks for bearing with me.

Isn't Phasma responsible for the destruction of Starkiller base?
