Ant-Man opened in theaters this past weekend. It was the top movie at the box office. It's still pretty surprising and extremely cool that we actually had a movie based on the character.
While we're still recovering from San Diego Comic-Con, we got to thinking about all the Cosplayers seen in the gallery. Going back through our archives, we haven't come across too many Ant-Man (or Wasp) Cosplayers. It wasn't until more recent shows they started popping up. It makes sense and is great to see.
Here's a classic Ant-Man carrying an Ultron head. We know that Hank Pym is no longer responsible for creating Ultron in the Cinematic Universe but it was a really cool touch added to the costume along with the lab coat.
Here's one of Ant-Man with Master Shake. But it looks like he's just shrunken down a little.
Here's a couple shots in New York. It looks like Ant-Man is getting around and hanging out with others.
Let's not forget Wasp. Surprisingly we don't see a lot of Wasp either.
Here's a some solo Wasp Cosplayers.
More Hank Pym Ant-Man's.
Here's one from 2010.
And here's a couple shots of Wasp and Ant-Man from SDCC with the actual Ant-Man movie costume.
That's it for this week's mini-spotlight. Let us know what you think of this new closer look at specific cosplay costumes. We have another character in mind for the spotlight next week.
