Awesome Art Picks: Batman, Rocket Raccoon, Falcon, and More

The coolest comic book art you won't see in comics

Each week we gather up the coolest comic book art that won't be appearing in actual comics. The reason they won't is because artists often do sketches for fun and commissions and post them on their websites, blogs, and Tumblrs. Some artists even pre-arrange commissions through their sites so be sure to check them out.

Mike Henderson posted some more "warm up" sketches on his Instagram. Looks like he's pretty dang warmed up.

The Mystery Art Challenge happened at San Diego Comic-Con. This installment featured Rocket Raccoon and a...lava lamp. The artists were not given any heads up before. They have seconds to try to come up with something to leave their mark on the character.
