Avengers: Age of Ultron TV Spot Shows Off New Footage

Lots of new footage in this new spot, including Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver

It's been a while since fans have gotten to see a new trailer for the upcoming film Avengers: Age of Ultron. Luckily, Marvel's Youtube page released this new TV spot which features quite a bit of new footage to get folks pumped for the May 1 release date.

Aside from seeing the normal Avengers team, there's also a glimpse at both Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver here too, but no Vision this time. The opening is pretty cool as Tony Stark's dialogue moves the piece forward, in the smarmiest way possible.

The trailer gives viewers a glimpse into each character's personality, including the main villain of the film, Ultron, voiced by James Spader. As far as trailers go, this one is pretty fantastic, but what do you think?

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.

Pietro and Wanda actually have Eastern European accents! Super happy to know that, I don't think any of the interpretations I've ever seen have respected that part of their origin.

TO ALL THE IDIOTS WHO SAID HE WOULDNT BE CALLED QUICKSILVER CAUSE OF THE OTHER QUICKSILVER IN X-MEN: HA!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE ACCENT, OH SO SEXY. I SUSPECTED THE REASON THEY DIDNT SPEAK IN THE TRAILER IS TO HIDE THE ACCENTS AND I LIKE THEY ARE SHOWING MORE OF QUICKIE. I'VE BEEN FOCUSING SO MUCH ON WANDA THIS MADE ME SAY: YEAH LETS SEE MORE OF THIS GUY.

ALRIGHT I'M DONE. That's it, that's the line in the sand, I will not be watching any more trailers. As cool as this was, there are definitely some moments in this that I wish I had not seen until movie night.

Saw someone on Facbook call Quicksilver "Quick-Ass". Really tickled my funny bone.

Captain America threw a motorcycle...well no more "MCU Cap versus Nolan Batman threads." Bruce has less chance than he did before.

Yeah. He didn't just throw it. He threw it and destroyed a jeep in so doing. I think it also answers the comic book debate as to whose physicals are superior to who between Bruce and Steve. It rather succinctly empties the question as to whether or not Marvel considers Captain America merely "peak human" or actually "enhanced". Definitely the latter (as if the plethora of comic book feats and previous movies hadn't already answered the question ... this just tied a nice little knot on the package).

@super_soldierxii: I'm not trying to start a war or anything, but based off of their origins alone, Steve should be more 'powerful' between the two.

Batman is the perfect man. He is stronger, smarter, richer, better. Nearly no man alive can stand with him in a fight and in a business setting, he's just as competent. Give him fifteen minutes and some Trident gum, and he'll find a way to turn Mongul into a Poodle or some s#!. The point is, Batman can out run an Olympic runner and outlift an Olympic lifter. He is nearly fearless, and can withstand things that would have turned a Seal into an eleven year old girl.

You can't beat him. You can't stop him. Batman may go down. But the first time is free.

But Cap is the ultimate person, the ultimate human being. He wasn't compelled by some tragic personal event to do the right thing. There wasn't just the death of one or two that made him want to stand up and be accounted, but hundreds. He saw a war with people getting kill, for the freedom of others and thought, "Hey, let me help."

The dude was skinnier then a tooth pick, and was prepared to risk his life to fight for people he didnt know. If these two were to ever meet on a random, and the fight got up close. I honestly see Cap winning. Batman is incredibly strong and fast, and his skill is impeccable. But let's keep it real.

Not sure why you sharing your opinion with me had you believing you'd be starting a war or something ... guess I have a bad rep!!

Lol.

I'll rarely strong arm someone who proffers their opinion with me in an open, respectful manner even if our opinions are at odds. Sorry if I give the opposite impression. When folks try to kick me in the teeth with their different opinions, is when I bare said teeth.

I honestly see nothing in what you just said that my comment to you disagrees with or contradicts. I agree with most.

I think Batman vs Captain America in a random is about as even steven as a fight gets on the Vine.

Bruce has his gear & utilities to abridge some of the physical advantages Steve has. I would also peg Bruce as the more skilled martial artist between the two. When it comes to approaching a fight in a random, they're both top tier strategists and match-up nicely. I think who wins (in their comic book iterations) is a toss up on any given Sunday.

Nolan's Batman however, gets the ever living tar kicked out of him by movie Steve.

Yeah im not going to watch this. To many trailers and far to many tv spots get realised for every movie

So is this the new cool thing to do?

Click on an article to watch a trailer/tv spot...and then act like you're not going to watch the movie because you've seen too many trailers/tv spots.

^ exactly

To be fair the Jeep was accelerating towards Cap as well, when he threw the bike. It's the bike's and the Jeep's combined velocity that resulted in the, what I would consider, at-least a 40 kmph crash.
But still pretty awesome considering it was a 200 kg (minimum) bike he launched, with a front-flip nonetheless, at a minimum velocity of 5-10 kmph (lazy speculation. Could be easily more.)

MCU Cap is such a beast!

Yes, agreed, the velocity definitely aided the impact ... but we must also take into account the weight of the vehicles. Even in a head on collision at 40 kph, the Jeep would have just pummeled the bike off the road. The bike "might" have dented the bumper. But man, CA impaled the Jeep with the bike ... driving the bike halfway through like spear. So his toss definitely greatly affected the impact.

MCU Steve is most definitely a beast.

Yeah....I didn't think about that, lol. That certainly changes things up a bit. So he definitely launched the motorbike at a much higher velocity than I initially imagined. Perhaps close or even greater than the oncoming jeep, I might need to sit down and calculate this. Of course, Centrifugal Force helped but it's such a solid strength and dexterity feat, nonetheless. Pure back-strength, dude. :D

If Cap keeps this up, the question wouldn't be whether or not Steve beats most other Cinematic Street-Leveller....it would be whether he one-shots them or not, lmao.

Cap's bike throwing feat is more impressive than anything Thor has done. Looked neat.
