Arthur

Origin

Arthur is an explorer who went to Africa to find a rare plant, whose sap is said to make everyone who drinks it fly for a period of time. His local guide succumbed during the exploration. Arthur swore to adopt his daughter. Arriving in the village of his guide, another tribe had kidnapped the girl. He swore to find her and the plant he was looking for. When he found the plant, he wrote to his brother Lambik, who then heard nothing more from his brother for 15 years.

A newspaper crew photographed Arthur in the African country called Dongo. Reading the newspaper, Lambik recognized his brother and went searching for him, together with Suske and Wiske. Finally finding Arthur, they drove off Serpentor, who wanted the secret of the plant for himself, and discovered that Banana, the queen of the Jambabas, was Arthur's long lost adopted daughter.

Powers and abilities

Arthur is able to fly after drinking the nectar of the Selderum Aeroplanis.
