Last week, a promo image was revealed of Diggle's new outfit forArrow season 4. Today, DC released a couple of full body photos for of Diggle, played by David Ramsey, so you can get a better look as Diggle steps out on his own to fight crime and kick some bad guy butt.

Arrow returns to CW on Wednesday, October 7 at 8/7c.

Why the helmet? The rest looks fine beacuse it's just tactical gear but the helmet....

I can't tell if he's actually wearing the helmet in the second picture. It looks twisted because of where his nose is in relation to the helmet. Also it looks really small on him and cocked to the side. I'm just so confused by how they let these images out. I'm hopeful it'll look better in action and on tv.

The costume is fine, the helmet has to go.

Is that a stun gun, or is he just all out shooting his foes? At any rate, i assume they will give him an Alias right? Makes no sense to give him a mask and continue to call him Diggle on missions.

Think they will just flat out call him guardian, or something else?

why can't they ever seem to get his helmet on straight and line that point up to his nose?

I get the need for something like that, he can wear all the Kevlar/bulletproof gear he wants, but that won't really help if he gets shot in the head

I agree with everyone else, that helmet is terrible

How did anyone working on this show look at that helmet on him and believe it looks good? You take away the helmet and the outfit works for his character. I just can't get over how silly that helmet makes him look.

Literally busted into laughter when I saw the helmet. So what, they're done ripping off Batman and decided X-Men is a more lucrative market.

Get rid of the Magnegro helmet and he looks absolutely fine.

Is there any reason why Diggle has to be a superhero? It's not like he has to be a hero based on his military background. He can just help out navigate the areas surrounded by criminals so, that Oliver and other heroes can fight them. Or he can just transport them in a van to those places, just like in previous episodes.

If there is a reason, then a more suitable costume rather than this Magneto-biker look would suit to his style. Otherwise, it wouldn't work. There are certian supporting characters that they don't need to be superheroes.

Take an example of Lana Lang from Smallville. She became a superhero because she wanted to beat Lex Luthor. That was a bad direction. If CW had learned anything, they should learn from this mistake.

It's bothering me less now, so I guess that's something.

It's not really a costume and that dollar store magneto helmet has got to go. No like.

For some reason I feel like the helmet would look a lot better if they'd fully closed the plates over the lower half of his face, and added tinted glass inside the eyeholes so it's a visor, fully covering his face. Maybe have the lenses possess night vision/some kind of visual augmentation.

A simple ski mask would of been better.

QFT. I never understood people that wanted him to be a hero. It doesn't even remotely make sense.

In this picture, I do not mind the idea of the helmet, but it needs to be redesigned just a bit. I would move the side pieces down a bit further away from the eyes. It should be closed completely around the mouth. That would be make it look more intimidating and less like Magneto.

Skinny cargo jeans, a leather vest and a helmet that looks like it's there for medical reasons.

After Oliver leaves Diggle , Canary and Mia handle the city , would it make sense if everybody knew who he was ? he has a family remember, how often to villians come after a person family? ask Oliver how that worked out , his mom beheaded in front of him

i want to see diggle transform into Big Boss....but the outfit does look pretty good,the helmet I hope looks better in action,but hey best thing is outfits and helmets can come and go,and fans don't dig it im sure they will change it up.I would of just been fine with a mask.

Destroy the second costume, and throw any other mask on the first one.

The helmet doesn't mesh. I should prefer a more tactical approach like a modified gas mask, something like the Killer's.

I think the idea is that with Ollie gone, they need all the bodies on the street they can get.

Part of me wonders if the helmet films better then it does in still pictures at least one can hope.

That's what I was thinking. I don't remember if at some point there is a visor in the trailer, but it would improve the helmet dramatically.
