Yukio, played by Rila Fukushima, fought to protect James Howlett in The Wolverine, and now the actress is heading to the DC universe to help Oliver Queen, a.k.a. Green Arrow! Fukushima has been cast as Tatsu Yamashiro, a.k.a. Katana, and she'll mentor Oliver Queen during the flashback sequences in Hong Kong. If you know anything about Katana, odds are you know she's quite skilled, so she'll obviously be a good person to teach Ollie some new moves.

Devon Aoki originally landed the role but, according to Deadline, she couldn't follow through because of a scheduling conflict. Viners, are you excited for more Arrow? Speak your mind in the comments below.

This is a great add for the show. I loved her performance in The Wolverine -- such great screen presence, one of those people that bring up the intensity just by walking into view.

@amazingwebhead: Superman Returns wasn't the worst superhero movie ever, or even in the realm of the worst superhero movies ever. Neither was Wolverine. Now if they hired Mark Pillow (Nuclear Man) or Will.I.Am, then you'd have a valid point. On the plus side, Nic Cage's career is kind of in the shits. Let's get HIM on Arrow! He could play the Blue Beetle. Boom. You're welcome DC!

Guys, it totally isn't her face, really. The shape of her head is weird. She looks like one of the Radishes from Super Mario Bros. 2. It just bothers me every time I see it. Kind of bummed that Devon Aoki dropped out of the role.

@amazingwebhead: Alright, then let's discuss it like gentlemen (for as long as that can possibly last). I don't feel that Superman Returns was the greatest superhero movie. It was essentially Superman The Movie with better graphics and a kid. But it was way better than Superman IV or Ghost Rider or Fantastic 4. My biggest problem with people complaining about Superman movies is they say Superman Returns didn't have enough action, Superman didn't even throw a punch, TOO MUCH CHARACTER STUFF BLAAAAH! But then the same people say Man of Steel had too much action, not enough character development, SUPERMAN DOESN'T KILL (Superman II would disagree with that as would Superman #22). I feel like haters just want to hate.

Great News, Her Presence Is Always Felt When She's On Screen, Her Unique Features Are A Blessing For The ComicBook SuperHero Universe. She Has A Prosperous Career Ahead And Plenty Of Characters To Give Life To On The Big Screen And Our Television Screens. I Predict She'll Also Be Featured In The Upcoming Star Wars Trilogy.
