    NYSSA RETURNS TO STARLING CITY, RA’S AL GHUL MAKES HIS ENTRANCE — A furious Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) confronts Oliver (Stephen Amell) about Sara. When Oliver learns Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) is alive, he suspects Merlyn killed Sara. Oliver and Nyssa join forces and go after the Dark Archer, intent on bringing Sara’s killer to justice. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) keeps her distance from Nyssa, as she blames her sister’s death on her involvement with the League of Assassins. Meanwhile, Oliver and Roy (Colton Haynes) work on repairing their respective relationships with Thea (Willa Holland), who has returned home. Nyssa discusses Oliver with her father, Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable). John Behring directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Marc Guggenheim (#304). Original airdate 10/29/2014.

    Nyssa returns to Starling City to avenge Sara's death. This was a good episode that focused on Nyssa wanting to find Sara's killer. Nyssa's character is interesting, to say the least as she is one of Ra's Al Ghul's children; her role in this 3rd season of Arrow was handled really well as it established the events for Ra's Al Ghul to finally make his debut in this series. One of the reasons why this episode worked out well is because it established that fact all while telling a decent story that ...

    Grief is a powerful motivator; it has been the emotional fuel Arrow season 3 since Sara was murdered. It is potent and caused everyone to take stock in their current surroundings. Simultaneously Team Arrow battles a feeling of helplessness, these mighty proctors of Star(ling) City can’t even find out who murdered their friend. Even with a decent measure of time, say 2-3 weeks, has passed, the wound has barely (if any) begun to scab over. It isn’t even close to that point for Nyssa A...
