Going into the final part of this 3 part series I was excited to see how it would end. Unfortunately, this excitement quickly faded as I read on. Everything in this issue seemed to be rushed just so it could be finished. While I am sure something more will come out of these characters, I personally would of liked another issue or two to make everything flesh out better. But unfortunately as it stands the issue, ended up being rushed and fell flat. The whole issue in itself is just no fun. The characters that started out with some depth became shallow and cliche in the final issue. Alyce Sinner, whos "origins" started out as a survivor of her families failed cult which was decently entertaining became the exact opposite of it in the final issue. Jeremiah, while cliche for the most part from the beginning was still interesting in the fact that he kept his "beauties" in the asylum for comforting, but in the end they seem to play no factor at all and are there just for filler.

As the story starts three of the four key inmates are free and raising hell, and we finally get our first appearance of Batman. He swoops in and does his usual thing, there is nothing really to talk about as far as a fight goes. The only interesting part happens as we are reading bits of Jeremiahs journal and how he is being blamed for everything going wrong, how he hates batman and his method of dealing with the inmates. After being dispatched Alyce comes out announcing she found Raggedy Mans body in the Asylum, of course after being missing for four days his sudden reappearance is a mystery, one that Batman intends to solve. So while looking over the blueprints he finds out that there is a hidden underground section of the asylum, one that Jeremiah had no idea about, as well as various encrypted tech related items, and a crude attempt to cover tracks. All of this leads back to Alyce, and her history. When confronted on this, she confesses to her true history, and then attempts to take out Jeremiah to get the rest of what she wanted from Black Mask. After it is all said and done though Jeremiah survived after the interventions of the guards, and Jeremiah is seen in his secluded room with his beauties, where we are introduced to someone claiming that he could be the Jokers evil twin.

The art of Jeremy Haun and coloring of John Kalisz continues to be good til the very end, again it was just a shame the story didnt go out as well as the other two thirds did. As I said earlier, if David Hine had another issue or two it would of been absolutely perfect for what it was.
