Ariel is a third generation member of the House of Rio, the family that rules the Dynasty of the Stars.
Her father is Xurio, and she is a grand-daughter of the house leaders, Rio and Riel.
Like all members of the House of Rio, Ariel is a master at using Universal Foci and her body contains artificially intelligent nanomachines called Symbiots. She specializes in Earth Element Foci and is a trained scout.
To help with her scouting, Ariel uses 2 Symbiot-infused pieces of equipment: a Nothingness Coat and a Stone Bow. The coat in particular is a stealth suit which makes her both invisible and intangible by phasing her out of normal space. She must keep her eyes and mouth uncovered if she wishes to see and speak. She also must wear special boots and gloves with the suit in order to move around and interact with the real world.
