Archie Andrews is an only child, who resides in the town of Riverdale where he attends Riverdale High. He has two girlfriends, Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge who both compete for his attention.
Principal of Riverdale High School.
Veronica Lodge is a main character in the Archie Comics where she is the love interest of Archie but desired by his rival, Reggie.
Jughead is the best friend of Archie Andrews. He is best known for his insightful yet cynical wit, his unmatched appetite, and his masterful cunning at accomplishing his goals with minimal effort (often called "laziness" by other characters). Equally well known but less understood are the signature beanie and cocky half-lidded squint that have remained with him since his creation as a character over half a century ago.
Betty is Archie's love interest along with Veronica. She is Veronica's best friend. She is kind, helpful, caring and selfless.
He is Veronica's father and he is also the owner of the Lodge Corporation.
Little Jinx is an Archie Comics character introduced in 1947. She was a mischievous little girl who had various misadventures with her father and various friends. Her stories mostly served as back-up features to other characters but she was given her own title twice. The first lasted from 1956 to 1957, the second from 1971 to 1973. Since the 1980s there have been often reprints of her stories but little to no new material about her.
The father of Archie Andrews.
Li'l Jinx's friend.
Friend of (Li'l) Jinx Holliday.
Reggie Mantle is a character in the Archie universe. He has appeared in nearly all of the Archie comics, and has a major role in many stories. He first appeared in 1942. Reggie's real name is Reginald Mantle III. However, he prefers "Reggie", or just simply "Reg".
Mother of Archie Andrews.
Arguably the sexiest character in the Archie Comics universe, red-haired Cheryl Blossom seems to trump both Betty and Veronica whenever male attention is involved.
A friend of Archie Andrews.
Older twin brother of Cheryl Blossom.
Sabrina Spellman's mortal boyfriend, who is unaware of her being a witch.
Sabrina's Warlock cousin who has an acute sense of fashion and showmanship -- or at least thinks he does.
Li'l Jinx's father.
In the original comic books, Sabrina comes from a long line of powerful witches; in the later live-action TV series, Sabrina Spellman is half-mortal. Though many people assume the character is inspired by the series Bewitched, she actually pre-dates the series by two years.
Alice Cooper is the wife of Hal Cooper and mother of Chic, Polly and Betty Cooper.
Owner of the diner in Riverdale that Archie and friends hang out in.
Woodrow Wilkin III, nicknamed "Bingo" is the cousin of Jughead Jones. He dates his neighbour, Samantha, and annoys her dad, Sampson Smythe. Although bearing no similarities, this character reuses the last name, "Wilkin", from one of the first Archie teenaged characters from the 1940's, Wilbur Wilkin.
Tomboy daughter of Sampson Smythe, she dates her next door neighbour, Bingo Wilkin.
The drummer of the Pussycats.
Alexandra Cabot's cat.
She is the twin sister of Alexander Cabot III. Often overshadows the rest of the cast.
