    I grew up on '60's TV reruns. Gilligan's Island; The Monkees; the Spider-Man cartoon; the Marvel Super-Heroes cartoons that featured Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, Namor and Thor; the Archie cartoon; and, Batman '66.I took Adam West's The Bright Knight seriously. It wasn't until a few years later, when I read Batman From the 30's to the 70's, and started reading Bronze Age comic books that I had a better understanding of the character. I still prefer Mr. West's Batman, since he was my firs...
