Up Against The Wall Mother

Archer and Armstrong #1 was preceded by a #0 issue the previous month. The #0 issue told the origin story of Archer, a Harbinger with infallible aim much like Bullseye from Marvel. At the conclusion of that story Archer met and become entangled in the life of Armstrong who is in fact Aram brother of the Eternal Warrior. The two of them are being pursued by The Sect an organization that believes Armstrong is the devil and who are dedicated to the homeless alcoholics utter destruction..

The Story: Chapter Three of Unity opens where Eternal Warrior #1 left off, with Archer and Armstrong surrounded by the sect, when Gilad the Eternal Warrior suddenly appears...

Erica in their sights Chapter Three draws to an end.

The Good:
Valiant's tight continuity is again on display in this issue. Along with gorgeous Art from Barry Windsor Smith

The Bad:
 Nothing negative to say.

 The Verdict: 5/5:
When I first read this particular title I was put off by the humorous undertones but over time the brilliant writing and Art won me over.  Like all Valiant V1 books it should not be missed.
