Ever since I read Geoff Johns' run on the New 52 Aquaman series, I have become a fan of the character and even started reading Peter David's run on the character but I noticed that Erik Larsen's run on the character was received poorly by fans.

Is it true that Erik's run on the character really bad or good? Because I am a bit interested in seeing how bad or good his run on Aquaman is.

The only down right awful writing of Aquaman is the 1991 series that lasted 13 issues. Its horrible. The others are all readable (the classic series is obviously incredibly dated but so are any silver age comics)
