I think that aquaman is really fast even on land, I know about his reflexes and agility that is around 15 times better than human's but I want to know your opinion about his speed runnning,do you think is 15 times too? there is a very good feat that people that think he is slow on land use to forget, when in throne of atlantis he tackles wonder woman in a very nice move, so what do you think guys? I go with at least 250-300 kmh

Pre Flashpoint he outruns a flying Angel (the same kind of Angel that Zauriel is). And Zauriel has at least hypersonic speeds if I remeber correctly.

Aquaman, even pre Flashpoint doesn't usually run per se, but leaps and charges at superspeed. Like in the New 52, where he tackles WW and then again Ocean Master a couple of times. In the first issue of New 52 Aquaman leaps from the port of Boston to the bank district in a couple of seconds and intercepts a moving armored car. That distance is between 8 to 10 kms and he jumps there immediatelly because he hears the sirens of the police car that is chasing the armored car. That would put his jumps at high hypersonic speeds (Mach 10 at minimum), which is later shown again in Rebirth when he cathes a falling helicopter, the helicopter is 3 to 4 meters away from crushing to the ground and Aquaman is far away on the distance (like 50 meters or something), but manages to leap and catch it before it crashes.

So even though his best feats are swimming feats, he is still one of the fastest DC characters on land. Not as fast as the Flashes or The Ray, but much faster than most other Earth, non flying characters.

@seastone98: The feat where he catches the hellicopter before it hits the ground in the Drowning is also a crazy feat, He covers hundreds of meters in less than a second

@seastone98: IMO it's both. He had to be able to react instantly and he had to have the ability to cover that distance instantly

@ecstaticgrace: Arthur has always been one of the few characters that's really does seem to tank most hits on purpose (since he knows he can) rather than dodge despite that he is still disgustingly fast in short bursts
