So I just finished Aquaman's mini series from 86, and I'm curious did they ever explain what happened to the costume in story I mean? I mean the added benefits it gave to much to jsut give up. (Blending in to undersea currents) I know the artist said it was to hard to consistently draw, but I'm wondering about any canon explanation.

I really liked it, much more then the traditional orange and green. And it had the added benefit of giving him an advantage with the stealth. Course maybe I'm biased cause that mini series was amazing overall.  
 
I just had wondered since they never give a reason of why he reverts back to the old costume.

I think that this was just retconned out a long time ago so there wasn't really an explanation.

I never saw this one before. It's good, but it doesn't look like Aquaman to me. Now if Aqualad was wearing it, then it'd look fine.

I liked it, too, but I gotta admit I like his classic Orange/golden shirt with green pants look as well.

I prefer his original look.

Just picked that mini series up from a thrift store, whole thing for 2 dollars. After reading it, I like this look more, but the orange and green look works great too.
