Awesome awesome awesome. Aquaman needs a movie more then any of the other core Justice Leaguers.

That's pretty cool. Maybe if its good people won't think aqua man sucks anymore. And I know wonder woman fans will be mad that she doesn't have any movie plans yet!

The badass part is a lock considering Zack's comment and Mamoa is allegedly going to play him. But the script is what we should worry about.

I would rather watch paint dry than a boring Aquaman movie, they should spend the budget on a Green Lantern reboot

I am jacked, but also realize the risk here. This is a tough film to sell. We can assume that a good portion of the film will occur in/under water and that will be a very difficult environment to create and make appealing to viewers. It could come across so bad and campy. And considering this film will be released fairly early on in the DCU schedule, it could be a franchise killer if it fails. But regardless....BRING IT ON!!!! Most undervalued/rated character in comics (imo)!

Awesome, I hope they try to cast Chris Hemsworth(A.K.A. Thor from the MARVEL films) as Arthur because I think he would make a really good Aquaman!

Also screw BadAsses from the 90s, they are the reason why comic books today have problems.

Keep the blonde hair and dont give him an armour, since magic is a big no no for MOS universe, explain tha their magic is super science.

Biocostume that looks like sea creatures would work, would explain the colors and also it would make him look interesting.

Biotechnological society, since you want it or not, he is the ecofriendly member.

Also he isnt 100% you can make him look les human and it would work.

I'd argue that Wonder Woman needs more more.

This is the greatest news. I've been waiting for an Aquaman movie literally my entire life. Like, my first words were, "I want an Aquaman movie." My parents were so confused.

@deathpoolthet1000: Aquaman is a very subtle badass. A glare here, some sharks there, and I think we're good. Maybe a nice one liner.

Aquaman has all the potential to be simply awesome and kick-ass at the same time. Just hope they don't overdue it.

I think that is my biggest fear with the Cinematic DC universe, Man of Steel that i loved, had this problem several times and everybody knows Snyder bigger weakness is that.

@deathpoolthet1000: For what they were doing, I kind of thought it fit with Man of Steel. My problem was the rush, and I think an Aquaman solo film will replicate this.

It's gonna be trying to tell an origin and a primary story at the same time, which kind of disjointed things for me.

I think they should understand they have to find a rythm and work it.

They dont need to have everybody in one movie and dont need to have too much in every movie to compete with Marvel.

They should play the long run, not trying to get behind Marvel as fast as they can.

Can't wait! Anyone want to make some wild guesses as to who might play the role as Aquaman?
