Exodus
I guess I was expecting for more heat in this issue, but it turned out to be a slow paced, dominated by the narrative captions of Garth telling the story to his grand daughter Donna. This line of narrative is very soothing, it´s good to see an old Garth remembering about moments in his life that were pure torture and destruction. This issue wasn´t about action or retaliation - only in the very end there is a little battle - but it´s about pain, sorrow and trying to moving on. Unfortunally it felt to me like a bad chapter in a 5 issue arc story, almost like a transition, but it was too much in slow motion, nothing important really happened. Sure the atlanteans are still in shock because of what transpired against them, but there wasn´t any action to discover the whys and hows of this cruel transgression or even a plan to counterattack. Aquaman is been played by the Queen of the Cerdian, she has him in the position she wanted, now Arthur will have to face old dear friends in the next issue. I liked the narrative captions and the art a lot, but the dialogues weren´t very good. Also there was an improvement in the colors.
