Exciting, even without any kings actually dying 0

I'm actually quite glad "Throne of Atlantis" is over because it was such a rollercoaster ride, including the lows. I'm all set for a new Aquaman arc as I feel he has a lot of potential. This new arc starts intriguing enough. The opening mystery earthquake is quite effective despite being a cliché. Not the King they need 4

Throne of Atlantis is over and even though it had some really awesome splash pages it was average and didn't serve almost no purpose for it to be that big.It didn't affect the League that much and it was for Arthur only.He became the king and so far,for these two issues that have passed the Atlanteans are bowing before their king but they aren't taking him that serious. After Arthur became the king of Atlantis somehow the stories just became cliche and didn't have that good feel as the last issu...

The GoodIn this issue, Aquaman and the Atlantean army are reclaiming and disposing of all the lost Atantean firearms around the seven seas, the ones that haven't made it to the surface yet to be specific. Knowing that there are air-breathing pirates stealing the Atlantean weaponry and selling them at the highest prices possible to meet their personal satisfactions, Arthur will have to act fast before the firearms fall into the wrong hands. However, the weapons dealer is already distributing them...

Now this could be brushed aside as an aesthetic choice or perhaps fanboys craving the bearded badass of the 90's; but there's more to it than that, honestly. The problem with the loss of his stubble is that it implies he's had time to relax. He was stressed out last issue, and he's clearly still dealing with a lot, and the unshaven look is always a good representation of the onset of stress, and that...
