This is probably the first appearance of Tula also in the new 52. The female guard is not identified but judging by body type and future issues it looks as if that is Tula. This is also the first reference to Garth as well. Arthur and Orm have a lengthy conversation. The Trench are released.

Who Should Be King? 0

This has probably been the most surprising series that has came out of the New 52, also being one of the best things to have come out of the New 52. Before this series I had a huge disliking for Aquaman, and was guilty of being one of the many who thought he was nothing more than a joke, which this series has proved wrong. Threats against the boy 0

This is an entirely acceptable, if maybe not very pulse pounding introduction to the new story arc which will intersect this title and that of Justice League.  This builds a lot more on the Zero issue and mostly ignores the previous story arc except for the very last part of it.  In so doing there is a bit of a drop off here, though it might be hard specifically to put a finger on exactly what it is.  What it is though is that this title despite being titled Aquaman is at its heart a team book. ...
