Finally Aquaman vs. Black Manta 0

This has been one of my favourite series in the New 52 and I am very happy to see Aquaman being a big time player again. I have to really give a lot of respect towards Geoff Johns as he really has a knack for bringing characters who have been dead, unpopular or out of the spotlight back into the spotlight and into brilliant comics again. I also have loved Ivan Reis' art over this series and will be sad to see him leaving as of issue 16, but what's Aquaman's loss is Justice League's gain as he is...

I loved "The Others" from beginning to end. It wasn't just the introduction of those new, fascinating characters, but also what the story did to further Aquaman's personality, and the way it redefined Black Manta as a villain. Residual Energy 0

This is a somewhat satisfying if not exactly memorable conclusion to the story arc The Others.  Throughout the entire story arc (including the Zero Month origin issue) there seems to have been an attempt to paint the series with Aquaman's and Black Manta's equal desire for revenge.  The problem is that it never really comes to fruition in an appreciable way.  Aquaman is here to be sure, but still acting petulantly in his desire to see the end of Black Manta.  Manta for his part is a much more ef...
