Unfulfilled Potential 5

Directed by Peyton Reed Produced by Kevin Feige Screenplay by Edgar Wright Joe Cornish Adam McKay Paul Rudd Story by Edgar Wright Joe Cornish When Edgar Wright left his long gestating Ant-Man film weeks before principle production was going to begin, I was perhaps a little angry at Marvel for not letting Wright do what he wanted. Wright easily would’ve been the only other director next to Iron Man 3 director Shane Black to put a clear directorial stamp on an MCU film. When Peyton Reed was b...

Redemption and Introductions 10

*This my first review ever here, so any tips, comments, and suggestions are more than welcome.*The moment I stepped upon the cinema I didn't expect anything except what I've read: that it was a fun, independent, and overall great film. For me, it hit all notes. The flow of the story started slow, introducing Scott Lang, his life, struggles, and his very adorable daughter, Cassie, and that was fine. Sometimes we need to see what makes the protagonist human, how we could relate to him in our ways ...

did antmans movie tie into his comics? Was it Enjoyable 1

On Friday, I went to see Ant-Man, on the opening night of the film, (although that could also be considered Thursday), this movie gave a very different perspective to the marvel universe. ANT-MAN Review - Best Opening Scene in a Marvel Movie! 0

With what may be the best opening scene yet for a Marvel Studios film, Ant-Man smacks us right in the face and makes us crack a smile in the process.Ant-Man is easily one of the harder characters, and super abilities, to pull off properly. Many could argue that only certain comic storylines have gotten it right. The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated cartoon gave it a great shot with Hank Pym's fractured personality creating the Yellowjacket persona, but like stated, hard to pull off fo...

Enter into the world of Ants...... 4

Ant-Man, the final instalment of Marvel Cinematic Universe 2nd Phase is definitely one to not miss. Young childhood memories of 'Antz', 'A Bug's Life' and 'The Ant Bully' are once again brought back to theatres diving not only into the exploration of a crafty man's road to redemption and sacrifice but into a wonderful world of awe-inspiring science for a whole range of audiences. Amazing special effects, well-timed well-executed humor and a formidable menacing villain the likes we have never see...

Not bad for an underrated character 0

I'm not much into the story of Ant-Man, but I think some characters are good portrayals. The story is okay, simple but good. There are good moments but also moments I didn't like. The villain was so boring and nothing new, as the soundtrack music. Visualy is pretty good....
