I was reading one of the Laughing corpse issues from one of my sisters who told me it was good. It was pretty bad and I kept on thinking how she is similar to Constantine, but he is a lot better. Constantine even tricked the devil into curing his cancer and controlled a prison when all the cops left it.  A "animator" whose only power is a handgun just doesn't compare. But its kind of unfair to the comic because Hellblazer was made by Alan Moore who is arguably the greatest comic book writer ever.
