    What is the tone of the series? I'm about halfway through Morrison's original run of the series and I love the abstract and whimsical tone. What's the new series like?

    I've only read the first trade of it but it's bigger and deeper than Morrison's run already.

    It almost has a horror vibe... but there's also a very strong family theme. Its brilliantly written, and the tone isn't really comparable to anything else I can think of.

    The best part is that it's tied to Swamp Thing.
    Didn't really like Morrison's run on Animal Man though.
