Arriving in the pages of Fluide glacial in 1985 (at number 114), André Lamorthe has published two albums. He has to his credit one of the most popular heroes of all those from the comic book magazine Fluide glacial. This is the sad, severe and perverse Chaponoir, who ranks for his sex life alongside Pépé Malin and Pervers Pépère. Note that to create Chaponoir, the author was inspired by the central character of In joy to the neck, a comic strip by Gotlib and Alexis. In December 2004, he tried his hand at cinema, playing the lead role in Nicolas Heurtel's short film Midnight Murderers produced by (TiKanar Prod).
