    Origin

    A young orphan girl, Amy once assisted the French nobleman Raphael as he was being pursued by authorities. As gratitude he would take the young girl under his wing, to protect her and act as guardian. However his search for the cursed weapon Soul Edge would bring him to defeat,. In a vulnerable state, he would be cared for by Amy who would contract a type of vampirism after Raphael's wounds had been tainted by the malicious power of Soul Edge.
